IT’S CURRENTLY 1:30 AM. THE PAST 14 HOURS HAVE BEEN A MESS FOR ME OMG.

In the past 14 hours, I have:

Seen Lunafly across the street and fangirled as they walked right past me into the venue

Watched their press conference while fangirling and eating maccas

Walk past me again

Watched more interviews being done

HAD THEM WALK PAST ME AGAIN AND SAY HELLO TO ME PERSONALLY

Met Andy Trieu again (after meeting him at BTS in Sydney)

AS I WAITED FOR PARENTS TO PICK ME UP, LUNAFLY WAS LEAVING. WE SAID BYE TO EACH MEMBER! I filmed them walking away (EXCEPT JIN BECAUSE HE WAS THE FIRST TO LEAVE AND WE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO)

BTS - I Need U / Prologue Timeline

So after watching the prologue again, this is what I came up with.

Taehyung in the beginning already has blood on his hands, meaning he already killed the guy. When he calls someone on the phone, he probably called Jin, seeing as how he was the only one that came alone instead of with the other boys.

Taehyung then lays on the mattress looking at a polaroid, a it’s a photo of an older man holding a baby, and the baby is Taehyung, proving it’s his father.

Throughout the entire video, you see Jin either taking videos or more photos.

Still in the pool area, V sees the raised area and stands on it, staring up at the sky, almost identically to how he does towards the end. Contemplating something.

When Namjoon is front of the mirror, he draws something onto the fog. Once he’s done, it says “You need to survive” meaning he needs to live through the heartbreak, he needs to survive.

Jin takes a photo of Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jungkook. 

Jin pulls out a plain polaroid, but when you look closer, it’s a photo of the beach from ‘I Need U”

Jin then asks “we, should we go here?” to Hoseok, and him and Taehyung nod their heads.

Except for Jimin. Jimin just kinda turns neutral, almost like he knows something but doesn’t want to say.

JungKook blows out the candle almost like their time together is slowly fading.

Then they all go to the beach, like how any group of friends would, and just as before, Jin is recording more with the cam quarter, preserving the memories.

Jin takes another photo of the whole group, minus himself.

While pumping gas, Namjoon takes a photo of Jin and Yoongi and once they get back in the car, Namjoon shows it to the both of them and places it in the glove box.

Also, if you look very closely during the video, Namjoon doesn’t even look at Yoongi, and his eyes only point at Jin, completely disregarding Yoongi.

Next, JungKook is sitting on the pier, looking out at the sea and sky. Almost like wondering what’s beyond. Wondering if he’s going to be alone.

Yoongi then sits next to him and places an arm around him, comforting him, letting him know that always be together.

this is also the same pier that Yoongi is seen on in one of his teaser photos.

Then they gather around the edge of the water, all side by side staring out at sea.

Taehyung then sees the large metal structure and climbs it. Jin sees but doesn’t do anything, instead he films Taehyung.He stares out to the sky, taking everything in. All the pressure on his shoulders. The murder of his father.

Once he reaches the top, all the other’s yell telling him to come down.

The smile he gives right before jumping tells them that they’ll all be together, even in death.

He finally jumps, freeing himself of his sin. 

It cuts off there, but once the credits end, it shows Jin in his car, alone and takes out the polaroid that Namjoon placed there earlier.

Although Yoongi was clearly there when the photo was taken, he doesn’t appear at all. Meaning he was never there to begin with. Jin is still seeing them in spirit, but they all know that they have to leave him for the better.

Jin looks at the photo almost confused, as if he was expecting Yoongi to be in it, meaning that he thought they were all there all along.

To wrapped everything up. Taehyung killed his father. The events of the Prologue are all of them after the death of the father, and Taehyung is haunted by the guilt even though his father abused his mother. The video are all the moments that they want to treasure. When Taehyung jumps off the platform because he can’t deal with the murder of his father hanging off of him, that’s when he kills himself. Taehyung does indeed die.

What’s really happening is that Jin is remembering these things. Jin isn’t really going through anything but if just visiting the memories back in his head. That’s why you always see him recording and taking photos, he wants to treasure them, and that’s his way of preserving them. 

That’s why he doesn’t stop Taehyung from jumping at the end because he knows that he’s going to die anyways, after all, it’s only a memory. He just continues to film while the others reacted like how they did when he originally jumped.

He’s just reliving all the great times they had when they were still together, and he has relapses, like thinking Yoongi was in that picture when he actually wasn’t. You can tell because of the angle that Jin’s arm is at. Enough for him to take the photo himself.

The memory phase can be true due to few things written on the wall in Yoongi’s scene in I Need U

If you look closer you can see it

You can make out the phrases:

“the most beautiful and happy moment in life”

“we are travelling through”

“read more, show less”

Maybe saying that Jin is traveling through his memories with all of them.

The other thing is that none of them change clothes. They hang out for what we assume are two consecutive days. But the only one that changes in Jin because here you can see he has a blue long sleeve on, but you can see his white undershirt slightly on the bottom.

But the ‘next day’ at the beach, they don’t change at all except for Jin who is now wearing a black shirt.

Throughout the whole video, they are simply switching jackets because of the colder weather later on, but still keep their same outfits, even after a whole day has passed. Meaning they never went home? Because they don’t have a home to go to because they’ve all died. 

The entire prologue is Jin remembering what happened and is trying to make the most of the last time they were together.

So all the events of I Need U are the members struggling to survive without Taehyung. 

Having to burn any memories they had with him

Does this paper look familiar to any of you? Because I’m very sure some of you have seen it.

Ring any bells? The paper that Taehyung wrote all of their names on.

Its also the same bathtub as you can see in this picture (excuse the crap quality)

It has the same border, and also, you can see the small cubbyhole in the upper left hand corner that is plainly visible of Jimin’s shot in the video.

The video is how they all coped with the loss of Taehyung, and they all kill themselves except Namjoon and Jin. That’s why Namjoon was able to take the photo for him and Yoongi when they were at the gas station. If he wasn’t there to begin with, then no one could of taken the picture if he wasn’t ‘real’.

If you also take notice, the only ones that actually talk in the Prologue are Taehyung, Namjoon, and Jin. 

My theory with JungKook is that he died last. So he still has some human characteristics, something that all the others lost already since they died a little while before him. That;s why JungKook only says “It’s Jin hyung” and then you never hear him speak for the rest of the video, because he already lost his ability to do so.
