                                  the way that she’s in disbelief says enough, her lip quivers just enough to let him know that she’s upset  — however she refuses to let him see her sobbing her eyes out … once again. “ you can’t be serious quentin .. that’s what you get from this ? “ at this point, she’s shaking .. not able to determine whether or not it’s from the overwhelming feeling of disappointment, sadness, or even .. anger. “ GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND DON’T COME BACK ! i’m sick and fucking tired of you playing with my head. fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you.. “ 

‘‘i have no fucking idea what you saw - or rather what you think you saw, so yeah that’s what i get from this?!’‘ he grabs his phone from her hands and his eyes widen at the sight of the naked girl on it. ‘‘what the hell..’‘ he murmurs before running a hand in his hair, desperate. he sits on her bed, to calm down.

                                    usually, olivia is quick to resist the temptation of going through anybody’s phone besides her own  — however, when the consistent pings continued to go off as he’d walked away and a petite blonde’s photo flashed on his screen, some of her personal red flags began to go off. to her surprise, she’s greeted with threads of the girls’ nude photos  — that’s not what catches her attention at first, surprisingly. the kissing emojis and hearts next to her name pops out bringing a sick feeling to olivia’s stomach. without a second thought, she chucks his phone across the room, smacking the wall only a little harder then she’d intended. with her mouth dropping agape, she’s unable to find the words to fathom the feelings stirring up in her chest. WHY CAN’T HE JUST BE HONEST WITH ME ?????? so unexplainably angry the only words she’s able to get out follow, “ get. out. “ 

the sound of something hitting the wall makes him rush back in the bedroom. ‘’yo what was that, are you okay?’’ he asks before he sees his phone near the wall, the screen broken. ‘’dude what the hell?!’’

                                  AFTER HER SHOWER COMES THE USUAL: covering up in her lace robe, face washing, and making sure that she felt the best that she possibly could. crawling back into her bed pulling the covers up to her chin, she shows her boyfriend a soft smile  — “ and now that i’m out … what’s the plans for today, handsome ? or are you heading back home for a bit … ? either way i’ll make sure you get your daily dose of livvy. “ giggling quietly, she relaxes her body a little bit and sprawls out ready to relax for the rest of her day, regardless. their arguing had genuinely tired her out.

he drops the food on a table nearby and sips on his drink before sitting next to her, on the edge of the board. ‘’you look so adorable babe,’’ he kisses her and plays with her hair. ‘’i have practice tonight, but i’m yours all day okay? why don’t we just relax and watch movies. i really want to chill.’’ he gets up to reach the food, and starts to eat. the silence is comforting, not awkward or weird. that’s what he likes the most about his relationship with her, they can just be together without doing anything, and he feels at home.

                                OLIVIA LOVED THE IDEA OF BEING CLEAN. she’d take long showers, steaming baths, and she used just about any excuse to be in the water  — seeing as she’d sent her boyfriend off to grab them food, she’d found the perfect reason to spend their time apart soaking in boiling water. another thing about showers, they’d become her safe haven  — often finding herself caught in the middle of a therapy session. though this time was different, she’d danced and sang every love song she could think of… perhaps this feeling was more magical then the first time they’d actually met. 

his trip to mcdonalds was quick and easy. he got himself a double cheeseburger, fries, and some nuggets, as well as more things for olivia. as he was about to drive back to her place, he noticed he’d received an attachement file from alana - the girl from last night’s party. instead of opening it, he shrugged it off and began to drive back. what’s the point of entertaining some girl he didn’t care about, when he was someone a thousand times better waiting for him?

                         REACHING DOWN TO THE FLOOR, olivia finds the shirt she was wearing, carelessly throwing it over her figure then pulling the comforter up to her chin. as soon as she spots the boy’s silhouette on her wall, she nearly springs out at him letting one leg drape over both of his  — making herself as comfortable as possible. pulling her phone back up to their eye level, she begins to show him some of her particular favorite memories, scrolling through multiple at a time but just slow enough so he can glance at each of them. “ i was thinking about your cute butt while you were gone and wanted to reminisce on when i first fell for you … looking back to then to now looks like we’ve come a pretty long way, huh ? “

                        BETWEEN THE HOURS PASSING, they’d spent more time making up physically rather then talking and, surprisingly she’d been able to close her eyes and smile through the kisses and sweet talk rather then dwelling on the arguing they’d been doing not long before. laying in bed, olivia begins to scroll through her snapchat memories revisiting every special moment they’d shared together to remind herself of why everything that had been thrown at them was worth it. being as quentin decided to shower, she’d started at the very beginning sharing her ooh’s and aah’s with herself and of course, holding her phone closer to her heart when she’d find something particularly sentimental. “ can you HURRY up and get your ass back out here i wanna show you something .. !! “ she yells, just loud enough for the boy to hear over the water. 

the hot water of the shower and the hours he spent making up with olivia helped ease his headache. he’d spent a little bit more time than usual in the shower, when he hears her voice through the door. ‘’one sec’ ‘’ he yells back and quick rinses the residual of soap off of his body. 

he grabs a towel and quickly dries himself and makes his way out of the bathroom, but not before glancing at this reflection in the mirror, to make sure there was nothing weird about the way he looked.
