Anyways. Another thing for Vgen's monthy challenge. This month's theme is "Ice Cream!" Ice cream reminds me of childhood, summer, and happy memories, so I was originally going to draw something really happy and bubbly. Maybe something precure? After some more thought though, I remembered vanillite. Back when it first came out I found it boring, but ended up using one on my team and really liking it I think?

Either way, I have a love for "unloved" pokemon nowadays, and when I came up with this idea of drawing "two unloved children" with vanillite for the theme, bro it just clicked in my brain!

I actually finished the fully colored piece first on like, the first or second. After I was done though I decided i wanted to make a lil mini comic thing. It's definitely wonky, but I still think I'm somewhat proud of these guys.

Less than 4 day until Artfight and instead of doing any of the refs I actually need to, I somehow ended up rediscovering the Onibi series and hyperfixating on it LMAO i'm gonna perish

Anyway uhhhh. I mixed the characters song designs and "cannon" designs, plus some of my own touches. My brain originally went "what if i did a remake of all the series mvs but in english instead of jp and with my own designs," which sounds fun if not tedious but uhhh.. 1. Artfight. I must focus. If I were to work on something like that, it would be after af. 2. Masa.... he scares me. I can separate the art from the artist but i kind of fear getting obliterated by him. 3. I have a tendency to get really fixated on something and think of all these ambitious things, but never actually act on them so...

For the monthly Vgen challenge! "Horse" I'm still so happy I got Gold City's alt outfit I HAD to draw it! I only did a bust up in hopes that the skirt would not kill me and I still had trouble with it lol. Did you know that there AREN'T frills on her back bow? Her event art had me thinking there were. I had to pull up my game to check.
