what's annoying is that the thinkpieces are starting up yet again. "he's a bum carlos will always be better than him he's washed he will never win anything ever again". and it's not just his haters but sinnerfam too. like yes today he played like shit he had many opportunities and didn't cash in on them. but that's not indicative of his whole career so far and his future career. it's not indicative of his current form. today was a bad loss and a bad match from him but let's not lie and use recency bias to judge his whole career. it will be okay and these kinds of losses WILL happen, and has happened to many of the greats that came before him. he has not been declining since the rg loss last year. he won 3 tournaments in a row last year mind you (i don't give a fuck about who his opponents were he still had to win all those matches)
