Four years ago I woke up at 5 am from distant explosions. I asked my boyfriend if he heard them too, he said he didn’t and I should go back to sleep. I tried to calm myself down, went on the internet, it was silent, no news or explanations. I told myself that those were just some weird street noises. Half an hour later I woke up again from the same noses, but louder. This time, there were news: russia launched a full scale invasion.
In these 4 years I’ve felt layers of fear, hatred and sorrow I never thought were possible. The war completely changed my perception of the world and justice, it forced me to reevaluate everything in my life and everything I believed in.
I’m not very good with words, so today I’ll be sharing some of my very personal artworks exploring some of the complicated feelings and experiences I had over the past 4 years.
The war still goes on, in fact it has been going on since 2014 not 2022. russians still kill, rape, torture Ukrainian people, destroy our cities and do everything in their power to erase our nation from this world.

I really do think many Fire Emblem fans are lowkey irony poisoned and addicted/heavily attached to sardonic, cynical and rigid views and perceptions of storytelling, and you can tell by the way most of them describe Engage as "campy" "cheesy" "self aware, turn-your-brain off fun" when... it's really not. The plot of Engage has themes, purposes, serious moments, an overarching point, etc. I theorize that they call it campy because they can't handle/aren't used to/don't like things that are extremely sincere.
Every FE game has funny moments, every FE game has hype moments, every game has magical, high fantasy tropes, and-most importantly-almost every game name drops 'Fire Emblem' within their stories at some point.
The only thing that Engage has that sets it apart is its fun intro song and the final cutscene when summoning all the Emblems again (which even then, it's basically the Emblems' own version of final map dialogue tbh).
Like, I know people describe Engage in these light hearted ways as a compliment, but even then it reads backhanded lol.

Turkey just shut down the social media accounts of LGBT+ organizations, and quietly banned/"made not possible to see" multiple dating apps for LGBT people such as Taimi. These are small steps leading up to this. Just less than a year ago the distribution of Estrogen was made ten times harder and hormone replacement therapy laws upped the transitioning age from 18 to 21. Please speak for us.

All things considered, the human body is quite incredible. The fact you can just feed it the right cocktail of hormones, and the body will adapt and start behaving in accordance with the opposite sex without any issue or complaint... like business as usual... If there's 750 pmol/L in you, that amounts to only about a single microgram in your whole body – one billionth of a gram. What the fuck??? For comparison, my daily Adderall dose is 40,000 times that much!
