She: Well, he’s one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. He’s a humble person, noble, a good person, he’s always… He’s a wonderful person, super disciplined. I think he’s an amazing guy.
She: No, we haven’t worked together, we have a friendly relationship. He’s a very good person. I think he deserves everything that’s happening to him, which is obviously the result of an enormous amount of effort on his part. And that’s it, you’re always going to hear me say only good things about him, because I promise you he’s a person— he’s one of the few people in the world whose humility has moved me. I mean, his manners and his humility have gone so far as to move me. Because he’s a wonderful person. He can walk into a room and I might have 45 friends in that room, and he’ll stop to greet each and every person. And you think, “well, that’s normal.” Well, it depends. I, for example, am much more antisocial and I’d find it a bit tiring. He gives time to each person, remembers everything.… He has an incredible memory and such attention to detail. Something happened with him recently that shocked me: I introduced him— I was with a couple, friends of mine, and I introduced him to my friend, whom he’d never met in person. And he says to her, “Oh, of course, of course I remember you perfectly, thank you so much” because she was the friend I’d brought with me to see him at Wimbledon and he’d given us the tickets and… And he’s like “Wow, I remember you perfectly. How are you? Hey, did you like the match?” A year had passed. And the guy says, “Thank you so much for coming to Wimbledon to see me.” And you think, honestly, wow, I don’t even know how he remembered it was her, because he hadn’t seen her. And so polite and so lovely. Always… He’s one of those people who walks into a place and when he leaves, he’s made that place better, you know?
