the complete ADORATION i have for Chiron is literally consuming me. this man has been alive since the dawn of time and he has seen so many of his beloved heroes die horrible deaths. maybe even more painful for him are the heroes who never come back home, who he never gets to say goodbye to. but he still gives his whole heart, every broken piece of it, to Percy. He watches out for him. he still has a kind twinkle in his eye. he still loves Annabeth like a daughter. he keeps loving, even though loving heroes means putting his already broken heart on the line, over and over again.
