Relieved of Thinking

a week into artfight i would like to give out the following reminders: it is okay if you thought you were going to participate but ended up not having time. it is fine if you started out enthused and then lost steam. you do not owe anyone revenges. you are not 'behind' and you are not letting anybody down. it is a silly little game for fun. do not forget this.

The way people are so surprised and defensive to hear that Islamophobia is institutionalized in america..the same nation/colony that literally has a whole policing body, TSA, that is known to specifically profile muslims. The same nation that created watchlists and no fly lists of mostly muslims..the same nation that wiretapped, entrapped, imprisoned thousands of muslims post 9/11. The same nation that encouraged banks around the world to adopt algorithms that will randomly blacklist bank users with arabic names, the same nation that has warred and bombed countries with majority muslim demographics? This is surprising to some people. Okay

i think the crux of human misery stems from the fact that our skeleton just wants to sit around and accumulate dust in an ancient barrow (that is the innate imperative of all skeletal remains in-case you didn’t know) but our meat has its own agenda which creates this fundamental conflict of interests
