Sorry this is included as the photo so reminds me of my long haired older (middle) sister, who got a severe smacked bottom from Dad, that I witnessed, when I was age about 11.
We had been to the January sales and my sister bought a book about pets or kittens, and when we got home I wanted to have a look at the book, and my sister said no and I said just 5 minutes, and sister said no its mine, and you might rip it. Oh please let me. No its my book. Oh please just for a minute. No its mine etc etc and on and on....You get the idea of siblings squabbling.
My Dad was in the next room, and was very mild mannered, but for some reason was annoyed at my sister not sharing, and marched in and pushed my sister over the couch and his knee and spanked her bottom. I stood watching and I remember my sister had a light green or white top and a dark green mini skirt, which my dad pulled up to reveal some nearly see through white panties, which were spanked repeatedly by my Dad. I had never seen such thin knickers, but my mother always tried to shield me from such things, so no wonder. I guess that's why she gathered the clean washing up so fast, to save me looking at my older sister's panties or stockings and suspenders.
Anyway there must have been a pause in her spanking and she escaped upstairs. However, Dad was not satified with her punishment and followed her upstairs. After a lot of raised voices and clumping about up in the bedroom, Dad eventually came down and announced to Mum, that he had given my sister a dammed good hiding. I didn't see my sister (and her sore bottom for the rest of the day), and she wouldn't speak to me for a few days.
Incidentally, I wasn't that upset she wouldn't allow me to see her book, so perhaps Dad over reacted as they often did in late 1960s.
