When you give design tools to non-designers
When you are trying to bring design as a mindset in a non-design company caos is something daily you have to get accustom to face every day. In order to transform caos in results you have to pay much attention on the tools you are doing to your team and learn from them and the way they use them and understand them. Even when you think you are showing them simple tools or methodologies, it seems that the collaborative tasks are not working like it should. Sometimes it’s better to rectify and rethink the tools adapted to their context and knowledge instead of explain them again and again the “official purpose and meaning of the tools like you learnt them. As I understand design it should be always adaptive and therefore tools are made to play and be redesign until the people who use them enjoy using them. Â
