It's pretty clear to me that the transandrobros made up transandrophobia and androphobia and shit because they thought feminism was for them and now that they've transitioned they think all the things that are wrong with masculinity and patriarchy are aimed at them specifically, and not that this is patriarchal society as a whole. This is how patriarchy reinforces itself and reinforces masculine gender roles! This isn't some brand new, specific-to-trans-men or targeted form of men-specific bigotry. This is the system of masculine norms enforcement described by feminism.
If you want things to change: BE A FEMINIST. This shit is basic 101-level feminism. This is patriarchy. This is kyriarchy. Men wanting their own special word and movement for their rights is MRA SHIT. It's also misogynist and anti-feminist, and in the case of the transandrobro movement, anti-transfeminist.
This is transfeminism, be a transfeminist!
They call her the Major because she's a major lesbian
Can't believe i have to say this this is not a safe space for yankee vets
If you say that and expect like, compassion, i think you might be lost.
Thank you for calling me a slur miss schizotypal neurodivergent queer disabled transfem veteran I'm really feeling the veteran part of you here.
While I absolutely will agree that it's a valid priority for the modern transfeminist and queer advocate to be critical of media with "cultural relevance" for the repeated inclusion of transmisogynistic stereotypes, I find that the scope of this effort is often relegated to singular pieces of media like Rocky Horror or Silence of the Lambs. Obviously these works deserve the criticism that they get. However it's my opinion that more works being cited as culturally significant today also deserve to be criticized.
What I'm saying is that I did not care for Stone Butch Blues.
Me neither.

idk cis and trans is just too much of a binary for me so theyre obviously harmful terms made to divide the community :(
lol my friend asked me to be in this silly music video he made and I thought you all would enjoy it
some people like to get mad at disability benefits because they think its unfair people who dont work get a payout from the government while they have to work 50 hours at the human suffering factory every week. but if you tell them "yeah that sucks i think you should also get a universal allowance and not have to work 50 hours at the human suffering factory every week" thats apparently the wrong answer.
this is sad and bad and terrible and bigoted but also this tragedy in two acts did make me laugh out loud what can i say

as a tme person with a transfeminine sister it is extremely clear to me that we absolutely do not have an equivalent experience.
she did not experience "male socialization." when i look back on our childhood, it is easy to understand that there was no privilege to that concept. she was forced to try and shrink herself into the shape of a man, and was abused when she didn't succeed at playing the part. being "raised as a boy" only highlighted the stark incongruity between what was expected of her and what she was. this repeatedly led to her facing violence.
and to be clear i genuinely don't care if you think a rude comment from an exasperated trans woman online is as equally bad as the literal risk of her being murdered when she walks outside. this is not a competition, being the most visible is not a prize. i genuinely fear for my sister's life.

This made me think about this panel from Calvin and Hobbes:
But unlike the adult in this strip, Calvinās dad actually APOLOGIZED for yelling at him when he saw how guilty his kid was:
