ive unintentionally made "yucklet eyes" a term i use commonly so i will define it here. i dont know what anyone else calls this but yucklet eyes are when any animal does this especially if it's eyes dont normally look like that
it’s so magical and beautiful that there are sprawling interconnected cave systems carved deep into the earth by various geological forces and you don’t have to go in them. there are miles and miles of stone passageways in total darkness that require you to exhale all the air out of your lungs to squeeze through parts of them and you don’t have to be there. some of these squeezes are underwater and require cave divers to take off their oxygen tanks and push them through ahead of them and me i am above ground looking at the sky as we speak. there are untold subterranean wonders no human has ever seen and i will not be the one to discover them #grateful #blessed

Here’s your reminder to not order a sandwich from the guy who lives in a shoebox. He’s really small because he fits in a shoebox but he makes regular size sandwiches. He steps all over the ingredients without using proper food safety and it’s gross. Like if he’d just keep his workspace clean and wear foot coverings it’d be not a big deal but nope! Just stomping barefoot through the bread. And don’t even get me fucking STARTED on the cross-contamination. Yeah I’m tracking ingredients everywhere and leaving little footprints in the bread I use for everyone’s sandwiches I sure hope nobody has an ALLERGY

When everyone sides with “forgiving” and “accepting” abusers over victims, this just results in the victims getting de facto ostracized as they attempt to move on with their lives and not interact with their abuser any more yet they then find that there are no spaces that will not welcome their abuser with open arms. Plus the abuser, when not identified as such, when given no reason to change their behavior, has no reason not to reoffend.
“None of my sisters are disposable!” Except for victims of abuse, according to this logic.
I also find it interesting on a rhetorical level that if someone puts up boundaries that exclude rapists, that makes them a “monster,” but a rapist categorically doesn’t get called a monster but a “sister” that must be protected. What the hell kind of standards are those?
I’ve seen this type of social dynamic happen before, both among trans people and among cis people. It’s horrible.

Pictured: Exton Square Mall, opened in 1973. One of many malls in the Philadelphia area built by the famed Rouse Company. A large expansion of the mall in 2000 modernized its aesthetic and added Boscov's, Sears, and JCPenney as anchors. The mall has declined considerably since then, losing JCPenney, Sears, and scores of smaller shops in between. In 2019, the CEO of PREIT, the company which currently owns the mall, opined that Exton was "a property that in the longer term probably doesn’t want to be a mall." PREIT's quarterly disclosures indicate that Exton Square is mostly vacant and seeing poor sales, and the company has been unsuccessfully trying to sell off the mall.
