My Thoughts on rating the Best ways a Character Arch Can go
1) Jax’s arch. Why I think he won’t be the villain. I’ll just straight up say it, Tadc Fans. I believe this is a Red herring. Everyone is worried that the characters won’t be focused on as much as Jax. I beg to differ. Because one thing you need to know is Gooseworx confirmed Ragatha get’s development, yet you guys still question that will happen? So by logic, everyone else should too. One thing you have to know is fthat Glitch always does things that we don’t expect and just as I wasn’t expecting Caine’s crash out, I totally see them doing something around Jax that no one sees coming.
I do not believe Jax is the final antagonist in any shape or form because throughout the series we see he doesn’t change his core, but he does seem to want to change and even when he ducks at it. I think this won’t just be the episode that his mask slips or he breaks. He isn’t breaking because of anything being put on him, but the realization of everything is hurting, but as much as his mind snaps, I don’t think he actually wants to cause anyone harm anymore. I think it be interesting if he tries so hard to act all nice and not try to speak about his issues until he does because he can’t escape that conversation. In a one hour movie. I suspect he will slowly build a better path for himself, and his redemption arch comes into play. Gooseworx confirmed people will still hate Jax, people will still love Jax. Now you can make the arguement that a warning tale is good and that Jax by default doesn’t need to change or Pomni shouldn’t be there. I hate to say this, but it’s evident that Pomni plays the savior of Ted in the final act. The final act of IHNMAIMS but reverse. Ted Didn’t have anyone, now he dies in the form of Pomni. I know a lot of people complain we don’t know much of Pomni, maybe there is a chance we’ll learn more here, but it cannot be emphasized enough that she exist for this sole purpose. To save Ted. To Save Jax right before the big sacrifice. I’m sorry fans, but narratively that is her purpose. And if she’s Ribbit? That adds it in another context all together.
2) The second Ai: here I argue that perhaps Gooseowrx is telling some alternate version of the Caine and Abel story. But with something interesting. Abel by default die have a vengeful side, but it’s not malicious. It’s retribution for what happened to him. Afterall, Caine absorbs him in this story, I’m sure I be rightfully mad too. If you wanna be texhnical, I see this Ai being bored and vengeful, hey soft and depressed compared to Caine. I feel like there are at least 3 Ais to parallel the IHNMAIMS video game. One of those characters are equivalent to that. Keep that in mind.
My point being said..Regardless of how this Ai is connected to Caine, Maybe even Bubble and a possible secret 3rd Ai. I highly doubt this one would be worse than Caine and let alone Jax.
3) Bubble. He is a mysterious and interesting figure because I see it being my way for him tbh and that’s why, I think it be interesting if he does play a role. However, he’s the most dangerous out of them all because if he is a virus attached to Caine. There is a high chance the virus wasn’t placed by accident. Again. Keep that in mind. If he is a sentient virus, the possibility of him being the true am, and Actual Malicious Virus that grows to hate Caine’s players and humanity in general. In some way, this starts off like a normal episode until they realize Bubble just starts to hate and hate and hate and endless hate them until it’s too late. It wasn’t Caine growing sentience, it was Bubble and the malicious intentions for the bubble boy virus will bring malicious Intentions. Plus, someone pointed out how “Bubble Daddy” is simile to one of the Titles Ted gave Am in the original novel. However, as cool and badass as that sound, let’s say Caine doesn’t come back. So I doubt we will see bubble too if that’s the case. If Caine does, that’s just as interesting because again, Bubble may be powerless if he’s stuck with Caine. And Since it’s confirm by Caine’s voice actor Caine regrets what he’s done to the humans at the end of the episode, it’s a high likely that he will not come back vengeful or hating the humans more or anything like that. Caine? As much as don’t justify his actions, he doesn’t hate the humans like that and I doubt he ever will grow to be like that? Could it be explained? Maybe. Perhaps you can argue that Caine’s death is what should cause him to spiral further and though it could world, I highly doubt it. It’s as emotional as Jax being a Villain or antagonist, because it’s Caine purposely choosing something bad. But Caine’s story parallels Gummigoo’s, a Ai that learns humanity and Is Deleted. Caine is the Ai that couldn’t learn humanity and was Deleted. Again, keep that in mind.
4) Why I bring this up.. Well for a reason, it’s all to come to the conclusion of the strongest impact. I’ll be honest, there is a chance that the drama and episode will have no antagonist at all, nor even Jax. It’s all about their traumas. On paper that sounds amazing. All truama and No Physical Drama. However, for me. I’m skeptical about this because a 1 hour movie means that we have to go deep into their psyches and that could worlk for a good majority of the film. This is why I believe Jax’s backstory is that of Ted on purpose and I believe He and Ellen, Ragatha’s original counterpart, have their stories somewhat switched. In the sense their importance when it comes to The Fear of Yellow and corn. No one likes the Idea, but imma work with that. Hell, could be a high chance that Jax may be a Hacker or an Engineer for C&A and he knows all the dark secrets behind it. And as someone pointed out, he couldn’t be scratch because of the breaking bad reference. But I’ll let you decide and get back to that. Save that like always. Also, lastly in this section, I wanna mention Gangle. I know a lot of people believe she was hit by a car or whatever, but my suspect is that since she’s based off of Gorristor, a character that used to be a truck driver. Don’t be surprised if she was in a Manic episode and one night during a nightshift for her old restraint job, got into an accident. Hell, what if she Ran over Jax or even worse, Zooble?
Now The person lurking in the background and one I’m sure you truly read this for…
5) Scratch’s role; I believe Scratch has a bigger role and importance in the last act.
Regardless if he’s a Good or neayrual character. Let’s go with the idea for now that he is not. Now, I wanna be clear. I may not be saying Scratch and Jax are tied in anyway, but let’s say the are. Reason I bring this up is for many reason. One big reason is the timeline of when Caine created the circus to when Jax came, a 21 year time span and Jax is 22, younger than Zooble. That an’t no way unintentional. The idea that Jax mentions a Mother, but Not a father and when he is being choked to death by Pomni, allegedly that’s a reference to Homer strangling his son. That’s BIGGG symbolism right there if that’s the case. Also, many of the signs of an abusive and neglectful father are present in Jax, and a lot of people may not like that, but it’s true. A father is important for development all the way until adulthood, and though everyone can Argue someone like 22 Year old Jax should be held to a 26 year old Gangle standard, I’m sorry, but that’s not gonna cut it. You have to look at Gangle as a 26 year old and Jax as a 22 year old. Those are major differences in brain and maturity. Ofc both of them should be held accountable, and it’s messed up Jax bullies someone older than him. He should apologize to her and that’s not up to debate. But you understand their coping mechanisms aren’t just based on morality, but also their experiences.
This is why, I undestand why people would be disgusted because in a culture that saids “Grow up and Be an Adult” it doesn’t sometimes allow you to understand that your childhood and Hell, all your young adulthood means you are still a kid. Anyone under 25 is technically under developed and still a kid in my eyes. In a 50 and over eyes, sorry, 40 year olds like Kinger are the only maturing adults and even anyone in their 30s or under 30 is technically still relatively young in many people’s eyes. You get what I mean.
That’s why I believe that no one in the fandom would question what’s happening if Kinger was In Jax’s position. After all, Nimdok by default is worse than Ted in the original, no doubt. Kingsr, I believe should be held responsible for what’s he done and that’s helping create the circus. Only reason? He believed he was doing the right thing for his friend, Scratch. I don’t believe Kinher is secretly hiding shady or alternatives motives. However, I do believe—He believes the Circus was made with alternative motives..So, remember when I established the parallel between Gummigoo and Caine?? What I mean is Kinger in this version is suppose to be much nicer. I believe he is always the lovable, but naive programmer. But you wanna know who I suspect is the opposite of that? That’s right
This Bitch. Now look at him. He’s so cute. I already like him. But just as much as people can argue they want Jax to have a downfall, I agree Scratch is the character purposely made for that. After all, in a story developed around 5 humans being tortured by an Ai, and now with an extra one. Why make other characters to begin with? Everyone could have just been just them and that would have been way more easier to explain and grow from. Right?
That’s why I believe Scratch is Jax’s father and the final hurdle the cast have to consider. But I’ll tell you why. Not just because I want special voice actors or anything on those lines. But Scratch is sort of representing this idea of the “Other Torture IHNMAIMS” but how so?? Well, I would think it would be a good twist for episode 9 to focus mostly On Scratch & what causes his insanity. Other characters could get deep dives, no doubt. But There is just no way I believe Scratch isn’t set up to have a bigger role. Also, what stands out is the idea of Father and Son symbolism. A lot of people think Gooseworx’s saying “What if this is about a person too stubborn to give up on a person that’s too stubborn to be saved?” Only thing is it’s not entirely about Funnybunny. Because Pomni no longer really pays attention to Jax’s constant ragebait and lets him chill for the most part. That’s why I believe there is a chance that Scratch and Jax’s ties and relationship is that saying. However, let’s get one thing straight, I never seen a yellow cute dog be the main villain in anything and it would be a cool twist in the companion trope. But again, the movie will build that up. Not to mention, this took inspiration from Neon Evangelion. Shingi Ikari and His father Gendo Ikari are major parallels. Only that Gendo is a darker older version of Shinji. And that’s what I believe scratch role will be. A darker Jax. A darker and more twisted bully. A darker Ted. One that doesn’t kill their friends to save them. But kills them to do am’s bidding. Though this is where it gets even darker, because If the roudntable YouTube channel is right that now after learning their just digital copies of real people..They now have the choice to delete their averts and I mean permanently delete them. Problem is that Jax will probably be the one to choose in the end. But to my liking, I think he’ll choose to accept the circus and save everyone. But who started this and wouldn’t want that? Yeah, this yellow bastard. After all, he had a tumor, I have a theory that there must be a Yui character if Scratch is a Gendo Character. So the likely hood of Jax’s Mom dying outside of the circus and Scratch not being able to save here, is what caused him to spiral and wanna digitalize his mind to begin with. Like how Am looses it when he looses his Victims. And not to mention, Scratch was the first abstraction. Unlike everyone else, He didn’t witness any of the abstractions and so the likely hood that if he’s a psychopath with abstract ideas ..I doubt he care about his fellow peers. After all! He has no reason too. Oh yeah, remember when I said that there must be a 3rd secret Ai?? Yeah, I believe there is The Red(Caine) The Blue (His brother/Abel) and finally..Yellow. That’s right. There is also a chance that the idea of DannyNorth Or Cornball Huge mind theory..literally could be scratch. He wanted to make himself an Ai. He is the system and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the reason Kinger looses him memories or even if his old team were Vicitims and just as toxic and also responsible for Caine’s death. Scratch by default is the only character that can play all the characters darker roles. He can be Ted in a sense he’s a darker version of Jax, he can Be Nimdok, and hell, it’s even darker if you consider that the circus is there for a war sense, if C&A is a Military Ai company. So high chance of a war criminal in the circus too. And experiments in the case of Gendo..And He can play Gorristor in a sense he abused Jax’s Mom. Then ofc, here is where it gets more interesting in the case of Ellen. I believe Scratch did originally have a people pleasing nature, and did have a side that at first wanted to play that “nerdy guy” but it became evident and darker that he couldn’t mask for so long. And lastly, I heard That Caine’s voice actor believes TADC ends like Don’t hug me, I’m scared and that’s interesting. Because It’sreleasing on June 19th, a day for Father’s Day, and not to mention, that show exist simply because of A strict abusive father. Max here, so let’s find out.
