first off, I think there’s definitely something to say about interpretations and especially the newer ones in lullaby. I obviously think having your own interpretations and reworks of older creepypastas, which famously are not great especially the older they are, is fine and remakes are cool. I myself don’t really have many problems with how the pokepastas are represented in Lullaby, even with some of the controversial changes like Lost Silver and Mt Silver being connected, or some of the characters being aged up. My problem is more with how fans reacted to this mod.

Okay, I’m going to come out guns blazing with this. But in Lullaby, GOLD/BLAKE IS 18, STEVEN AND GLITCHY RED ARE BOTH 18, GREY IS 16, DEAD RED IS 20, SILVER IS 19!! LITERALLY OLDER THAN MAJORITY OF THE CAST!!!!!! The amount of people I’ve seen treat Steven and Glitchy like they’re adults in their mid twenties, while treating Gold like he’s 12 is fucking CRAZY. I understand having ages change between the pokepastas and lullaby’s interpretations can be confusing, but the fandom characterizations of these guys BAFFLES ME. Literally I don’t get how you can interpret them as fighting with each other a whole lot or just interacting like adults would with each other, when the characters are ALL nearly the same age. This is primarily about people acting like Steven and Glitchy Red taking more of a parental/wiser role over the others but Gold especially, when all THREE of them are the same age, and let’s be so fucking for real they wouldn’t have total emotional maturity with how crazy their stories are.

This part is going to be smaller since I basically said all my thoughts in the prior section, but this is more personality mischaracterizations. Straight up, I NEVER understood the people saying Glitchy Red would fucking hate Grey and try to kill him or some shit. Like the devs said (I can’t remember who said it), I think they would have an awkward relationship and Grey would be intimidated by Glitchy, but I definitely do NOT think it would be as strained as some people make it out to be. Just let these characters act like teenagers would rather than little kids or grown adults.
