To Love And All Its Misery.

Sometimes, you get everything you never wanted.

Wren shook a few hands, answering whatever questions came his way. most of them were pleasant to answer, explaining his views or giving advice on how to help out the causes that were most important to the individual pressing him. when he heard a soft voice, he turned with a smile, green eyes crinkling at the edges. “I’m sure my assistant would like me to say no, but, truth of the matter is that my plane doesn’t leave for another twenty-four hours, so unless your questions consist of you quoting War and Peace cover to cover, I think you’ll be just fine. What can I answer for you, miss?”

“So, um.” She hadn’t been in this school for a little over a year. She had moved foster homes a few times, and was finally back in this neighborhood. This school was kind of, well, nice. She had a few friends. She hadn’t talked to them in quite some time, but surely nothing major had changed, right? She was still the same girl. “I know we haven’t spoken in a long time, but I was thinking…You know, maybe we could go grab ice cream after school today? If you’re free and all…”

       “Any questions? I’ll be sticking around for a while,            if you’d like to pose your inquiries in private, if you’re            a little bit shy.” the senator gave a smile, holding onto            the podium as the crowd clapped and began to leave.

She had never paid much attention to the people who busked; it seems pointless to her, really. But then again, she knew they had to start somewhere. Zoë stared at him as he sang, giving a small round of applause as he finished. “Damn, you’re pretty good.” 

Tobias looked up at the woman who had spoken to him. “Well, thanks. It was just a little something I decided to put together this morning. ‘m glad you liked it!” Tobias wasn’t one fo those preformers who took donations. He was just the one who played while you went on with your day.

     malachai shook his head. smiling shyly      at the other. he was too embarrassed to      inform them that he didn’t hear the first      thing they had said. “um… i’m mal?” he      tried to answer, shyly.

Adelaide raised a brow at her new aquintance. “Oh, well, I’m Adelaide.” The Brit smiled. “But, by chance, do you have the time?”
