The warlord saw you as nothing more than a pest before you proved you could be useful. Even then, he treated you with condescension, like you were some kind of pet. Good luck getting him to show any sort of kindness.
9: Shockwave
He has a very odd and twisted way of showing affection. Maybe it's best if you don't try to romance the scientist.

I'm desperate right now because I don't have any friends who I can talk to about Transformers stuff (especially the whole 'being attracted to them' thing) so this isn't a request, I just want to ramble about Optimus a bit because I just watched ROTD and I just... I want to see Optimus smile again, I want him to be the focus again, I want him to be goofy and a bit of a dork. Specifically, I want to give Peter Cullen the right to voice goofy/dorky/happy Optimus again.

♡ He's a LARGE mer. It's easy to forget when you're always looking down at him from a dock or a boat but he's actually about twelve feet long and very muscular.
♡ Optimus has always been fascinated by humans and after befriending you, he asks endless questions about your culture and what life is like on land.
♡ When you decide to read while waiting for him to show up at the docks, he's curious about what you're doing and is immediately interested when you explain the plot of the book.
♡ But he doesn't understand the text and gently refuses your offer to teach him. Even if he were to learn to read, he wouldn't want to damage your books with water or his claws.
♡ So you start reading out loud to him instead.
♡ And he loves how you make the stories come alive.
♡ He also loves swimming with you. It's one of his favorite things to do and when the sea is calm, he invites you to lay on top of him while he floats on his back. It's how you cuddle and he finds it very relaxing.
♡ If you can't swim, Optimus would gladly teach you or let you ride on his back if that would be more comfortable for you.
♡ He shows you hidden places around the islands no one knows about except for him and now you. A small, secluded cove not far from town becomes your new meeting spot.
♡ Optimus often brings you things from the sea that he thinks you might like. Colorful shells are the most common but he once gave you a necklace he found buried in the sand. It's a sparkling necklace with an opal stone and once you put it on, you've rarely taken it off since.

Can you do a tfa prowl being jealous because their shy s/o is getting along with jazz and knows jazz has a crush on her.

♡ Seriously, what would ever give you that idea?
♡ Was it the pointed glares he would send Jazz's way when he thought you weren't looking? How he would butt in on your conversations with some lame excuse for needing your attention? Or maybe when he would suddenly become more affectionate in Jazz's presence?
♡ And if you didn't notice the signs, you definitely knew he was jealous when he picked you up and carried you away from Jazz when he decided you were spending too much time with him.
♡ Prowl isn't half as subtle with his jealousy as he thinks he is.
♡ You try to talk to him about it, but he pretends he doesn't know what you're talking about.
♡ He was already protective of you because you're human but the thought of someone taking you away from him dials that protectiveness up to eleven.
♡ And with you being so shy, you didn't realize that Jazz felt more than friendship for you - but Prowl did.
♡ Prowl isn't the type to start fights and for the sake of cooperation, he won't, but he is colder towards Jazz and rougher when they spar together.
♡ Jazz doesn't want to cause trouble in your relationship despite these feelings he has for you.
♡ He tells Prowl that when the jealousy starts to get a bit ridiculous. Prowl doesn't believe him at first, but Jazz tells him that he even had a chance with you, he wouldn't hesitate. But he knows you're in love with Prowl and you wouldn't even consider it.
♡ That actually reassures Prowl quite a bit and eventually, he starts to relax. But he never fully trusts Jazz and keeps an eye on him when he's around you.
♡ Prowl won't let anything or anyone come between you.

If you knew what was waiting for you when you went into the water that day, you would've stayed in and start packing to go home.
But there were only a few weeks left of your summer research trip left and the Troian Isles were home to the one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. It would be a crime not to spend as much time in the water as possible.
So, armed with your trusty underwater camera, you hopped into the old speedboat tied to the dock and sped away from shore.
You slowed down just before you were out of swimming distance from the docks. You had learned the hard way to keep close to land.
You tossed the anchor overboard and while it made it's way to the ocean floor, you suited up in your fullbody swimsuit and oxygen tank, complete with goggles. You sat on the edge of the boat and let yourself fall backwards, quickly descending with the extra weight of the tank.
You reached the ocean floor. The coral reefs glittered in the sun and colorful fish swam around you in every direction, but you paid special attention to a small octopus that moved towards you on the ocean floor.
It was curious, but kept it's distance and you didn't try to get closer to it. You took several photos and lost your in your favorite place in the world.
You didn't even notice how much time had passed until the water became darker around you and you looked up to see a purple sky.
There were no sharks anywhere near the Troian Isles, but as a rule of thumb, it wasn't a good idea to be in the water at night. So you put your camera's strap around your neck and swam up towards the surface.
By the time you pulled yourself back onto your boat, the sun was dipping below the horizon and you took a moment to just admire the view. Purple and orange hues painted the sky, slowly being overtaken by a deep blue.
You really were lucky to have gotten the chance to spend your summer here.
You grabbed the steering wheel and turned the boat towards the docks, speeding away as the sun set behind you.
The boat reached the dock just as night fell. You securely tied the boat to the dock and were just about to get off when you noticed something in the water.
Below the dock, something gray and shiny shape was thrashing around.
It must be a dolphin, you realized in horror.
You immediately shrugged off the oxygen tank and dove into the water before it even hit the floor. Swimming blind, you followed the warped sound of the dolphin moving until you felt sleek skin beneath your outstretched hand. You also felt the netting holding it down.
You reached for the knife strapped to your hip and the dolphin thrashed harder, which made it that much harder to make sure you didn't hurt it as you cut away at the net.
You could barely see in the dark, but you felt the net give way and you gave it some space so it could swm away.
But it stayed where it was.
You realized much too late it was too large to be a dolphin.
It looked at you and red eyes glowed in the dark water.
You gasped and water filled your mouth and nose, immediately making you scream in your mind. You needed air. Kicking your legs, you fought your way to the surface and away from the creature, but you were already lightheaded and black spots were filling your vision.
You were going to die with water in your lungs and no one knowing where you were.
Claws suddenly hooked into your arms and you screamed as you sped upwards, exploding out of the water and landing hard on the dock.
Sea water burned as it rushed out of you, nearly making you throw up from gagging so much. You just laid there, grateful for every breath and once you had the strength, you lifted your head to look back at the ocean.
Unblinking red eyes stared up at you, the rest of the creature's face hidden in the water.
You stared at each other for several moments, your heart pounding in your ears.
It spoke.
"I am in your debt." It said in a low, rumbling voice.
Before you could get a word out, it's head dipped below the water, disappearing into the dark. Like it had never even been there.
Can you do some headcanons of optimus x human s/o romantic moments?
♡ I've said this before and I'll say it again: Optimus translates his favorite texts for you himself. He'll take the time to translate it into your first language, whatever it may be. He wants to share this side of himself with you and only you.
♡ He'll send you love poems he translate with nothing else added to them because he gets embarrassed far too easily when it comes to you, but when you respond well to them, he'll keep doing it with little notes attached.
♡ "I was reading this morning and this made me think of you."
♡ "I never understood what this poem meant until I met you."
♡ "I hope this brightens your day, my love."
♡ And if you start finding the poems seem oddly specific to you, well, you keep Optimus's hidden talent to yourself.
♡ Optimus doesn't claim to know much about human music, but he plays the most beautiful songs from every era while you two are on the road. Once, you sang along to one of the songs you knew and it's now one of his most treasured memories. He makes a list of every song you sing to so he can play them again, just to hear your voice.
♡ Optimus loves rain so if you two happen to be outside when it starts raining, he'll find somewhere you can both be sheltered and hold you close while you two watch the rain pour down.
♡ He doesn't let it show, but he's very anxious about hurting you on accident. He would never forgive himself if he did, even if you forgave him. So when he learns mass displacement can drastically reduce the risk and allow him be closer to you, he's eager to try.
♡ At ten feet, he's still a giant compared to you, but he's amazed that he can hold your hand and kiss you properly without the use of a holoform.
♡ And when you cuddle him while he's mass displaced, he'll never be the same again.
♡ He has nicknames for you, but saves them for when you're alone. He mostly uses human terms as he finds them much more endearing.
