The past is a pebble in my shoe.

I have mastered the art of survival even if it is not beautiful

How with time, even the sharpest of aches can fade into background noise,

So constantly consistent that you almost forget to acknowledge a time before sorrow

There are too many things to do before departure,

And that is how you go on.

There are two warm kitties waiting for me at home,

There is a package on route from New York that I will need to collect from the front steps.

There are dishes to be done, laundry to wash, bills to pay, phone calls to make.

There is work on Monday, friends to call, family dinners to attend.

Echoes is another short horror/thriller film I’d recommend. It is well done and very creative. It gave me the chills. It’s about a woman who begins to see odd things concerning herself throughout the day.
