Spent much of the day drawing. Much love to my Valentine @jmichek for letting me huddle around my iPad for hours (in fairness, she was playing Firewatch and I was avoiding spoilers). I'm loving Procreate!

Last week at figure drawing I spent the entire 3 hours with Adobe Sketch with that pencil tool that I love. This week I worked exclusively in Procreate, and I'm so impressed with this program. It takes a while to get used to not using keyboard hotkeys for everything, but once you do you have a more natural digital painting experience where the software sits back and just lets you paint. I still don't think I can use the iPad Pro from start to finish on a piece, but I could probably get an illustration about 70% of the way there and throw it into photoshop to clean everything up. Mid-way through the rendering of the figure on the right I finished up at home. I'll post the video that Procreate records... It's almost like the ol' Oekaki days! Many many thanks to Tara Mueller for the brushes.
