4-time champion of the World Coronation Series.

Turns out being the very best isn't all it's cracked up to be. The WCS board gets on him any time he tries casual battling –can't have the world champion losing his title to a rando off the street.

Mentor-mentee dynamic with Leon, who actually understands the unique pressures of such high achievement at such a young age.

Hasn't settled down anywhere but spends more time with his family in Alola than anywhere else.

Cycles through all his team members aside from Pikachu. He tries to make sure they're all getting his attention.

Feeling stuck but optimistic.

Aroace but hasn't figured that out yet. It's hard to recognize the absence of something, y'know?

Has so much love for his friends, both human and pokémon.

You can never get him on the phone though.

GOH

Has earned 32 badges across 6 regions so far. He hasn't participated in any league championships yet, believing he's not ready.

Core battle team is Cinderace, Inteleon, Scizor, Flygon, Absol, & Raichu. Cinderace can gigantamax and Absol can mega evolve.

Grookey has evolved into Thwackey! He's an ESP and doesn't count toward the team limit but can't be used for battling.

Mainly travels solo but occasionally joins up with his or Ash's friends.

Is still catching pokémon but not as prolificly as before.

Visits Cerise Lab as often as possible, usually about every 6-8 weeks.

Hasn't seen Ash in over 3 years but they talk pretty regularly.

Hasn't seen his parents since he started on his own journey. Doesn't speak to them much either. They do give him money though.

Has his own room at Sonia's house.

Chloe embroidered the little Mew on his mega glove. Horace made the Scorbunny head plush.

It's still just Eevee (and Yamper) for her, but she also takes care of a Budew belonging to Dawn.

Has embraced her interest in photography, mostly landscape and portrait.

Still going to school, still doing weekend research but sure now she doesn't want her future to be centered around pokémon.

Also 🏳️‍🌈. Not out to her family yet, not because she thinks they'll react badly but because she doesn't want to deal with that.
