No one told me that adulthood might look like eating fancy grilled cheese and Gatorade in my kitchen at ten pm wearing just an oversized tee shirt and Japanese slippers after playing video games with my friends for hours while I listen to a kpop band I attended a pop up for earlier today and I feel like that was a really big misstep on their part. I knew adults probably did cool things when I went to bed. Now I’m that adult, I guess, without having to care for small humans that I have to convince I go to bed at 8pm too. A lot about being an adult sucks but moments like these make me really grateful.
