My Bruce and Steph posting might lead you to believe that I think they're all doom and gloom but honestly I do think their Batmam and Robin has room for joy and whimsy. Steph replacing the "Bat" in Batman with increasingly ridiculous adjectives starting with a B. Bruce immediately latching on to a passing comment she makes about Crystal wanting her to go to college and badgering her about it too because she will go and he will bankroll it but he phrases it in a logical "this will help with hero work" way and it weirdly works on her. Steph being stingy about the sort of affection she'll give and receive and Bruce being awkward about reaching out but she gets beat up pretty bad one day and he gently untangles her hair and she lets him. Bruce teaching her to mod her bike Red Bird style and being forced to awkwardly interact with Tim when she takes him joyriding on it because the level of Cool surpasses any issues they could be having in their relationship and Tim's attempts to keep a distance after quitting(if we're going w a canon timeline).

tbh bruce and steph batman and robin should be extremely messy like yeah they're fun teenage girl and her old man mentor but also the horrors oh god the horrors let's be codependent and mean and angry and every word you say to me is so personal and ill never admit it and I look up to you so much but maybe that means I'm gonna deeply resent you someday and you're my childhood hero the personification of safety and freedom and everything Good and fundamentally maybe I'm not really Good the way you are and I'm a twisted mirror a mosaic of everyone who came before me a glimpse at everything that'll come after you so maybe we'll never truly see eachother after all and maybe we also understand each other in a truly unique and indescribable way
