Once again, Jonathan Byers did not waste his childhood and social life, getting multiple minimum-wage jobs at 14 to support his family. For you all to call Steve (a very spoiled rich kid who is only working minimum wage jobs because his father is trying to teach him a lesson) your "working man"

Be serious. Be s.e.r.i.o.u.s. Steve Harrington was a homophobic bully for the first 16 years of his life. He literally had to have the homophobia beaten out of him. Some people, especially people like Will and Mike who haven't really hung out with Steve that much. Don't understand how much he's changed, they probably still think he is homophobic. Now Jonathan Byers on the other hand has made it abundantly clear that he supported his brother no matter what. He encouraged people to be different and break free from the norms. He was quite literally bullied for being perceived as gay. He knows what if feels like to be bullied and mocked. He literally is the safe space for his friends in family.
