Goji

<<WHY? HUH??>>

There Goji was, again. At the boarder of the city, very few citizens here. Not like anyone would actively choose to follow this 10ft lizard to such an eerie local. He had paced along the border now for quite some time as if trying to find different angle, a crack in the armor. Much to his frustration there was nothing, this same frustration was now boiling towards annoyance.

Defiance filled Godzilla’s throat, blue and very nuclear- was shot into the distance of the mist dimly illuminating it but loud and obnoxious none the less. Gripping onto a rather generously sized rock, a halfhearted throw was simply icing on the cake. Reaching down for another stone, Goji’s hand encounters something a lot more…malleable.

Goji was practically glowing, that was until he was actually glowing. Dorsal plates pulsing with that ever hypnotic blue hue that ran down from his neck to his tail, its soft hum letting everyone know how good he was feeling. This little lightshow could have been easily noticed, the sun was slowly passing beneath the horizon, and the forest within Cotes Ward was now beginning to darken yet the activity within it was as lively as ever.

So, it can easily be understandable that the sound of heavy footfall and the clamoring of armor caught Godzilla off guard. A human; or rather human enough for him, had been walking though this forest as well. Uncommon- but not unheard of. Was it the showy display that had attracted Abnur over? Maybe he was simply lost and fate had decided you know what, have a big chunker. For whatever reason, Godzilla and Abnur had found themselves together in this darkening forest- the faint chatter of curious fae filling up the dead air between them- that was until Goji decided to grunt a hello.

He’s pretty well adjusted to life in the city by now. Two jobs, a few friends, what’s not to like? There’s a good couple of natural places to explore as well! For him, it’s like a fun trip every time he leaves his house.

He’s currently crouched at the edge of the koi pond, throwing bits of whatever at the fish while they eat. They also look like they’d be nice to eat- but he won’t catch them. They’re too nice. He’s having a generally good day, that is, until something massive rises out of the river. Startled, he drops his bag of crumbs as a shadow practically blocks out the sun. He’s got no time to move before a massive, scaly foot practically smashes him.

There’s a small shockwave that makes the water ripple as purple-pink energy crackles to life along his arms, hands braced against said foot. He’s not going to get crushed by whatever monster got the drop on him.

“Do me a favor and get off me.” He says, braced under their foot as he pushes upwards against it from his crouched position.

It’s been a while, not too long actually when you think about it. Going to sleep and having entire years go by was nothing new for the titan. The bottom of the Cotes Ward’s lake has provided a much needed home for the time being. Had everything a nuclear lizard could ask for- silence and the occasional chunky koi- sure there were other things in the lake but hey, they didn’t cause Goji too much grief.

Most things simply moved out of Goji’s way he never really needed to pay attention to were he walked, and things were simply that way. So, it came to no surprise that Godzilla would accidently step on some poor soul who simply didn’t see him and his big chunk in time. That would have been the end of the encounter until a strange eerie pulse escaped from beneath him accompanied by a rather annoyed tone.

GODZILLA || CHUNKY LAD AND NUCLEAR POWERPLANT

-Looks angry, but just tired.

-Doesn’t actually like to get shot at and maybe that's why an extra building or two goes down (who knew)

-Maybe when they start walking about and getting angry about something you should let ‘em ya know, do their thing and not get in the way.

-Big ol chonker, big ol attitude.

-The best day is a day spent staying asleep for thousands of years and then never waking up to the world not on fire.

-Feed Goji, make Goji smile :)

-Best friend is a moth,

-Can probably name a total of 3 humans who are cool.

-Was in a Dr.Pepper commercial once.

-Piggy back rides are allowed, but also good luck.

-Will eat bombs, and also your microwave.

-Real old, real tired, misses when humans weren’t such a pain to hang with.
