It’s kinda strange, but definitely one of the most formative experiences of my childhood was how much I played Runescape. A lot of people can trace their love of fantasy back to highly-esteemed works like the Lord of the Rings or the Princess Bride, but for me it was this dumb mid-2000s MMORPG.

I’ve recently gotten back into playing it (specifically Old School Runescape, which is their deliberately nostalgia-based version) to cope with how crazy school has been, so I decided to draw my character here. Runescape leg armour makes absolutely no sense, but hey, there’s only so much you can do with a handful of polygons

First look at my NaNoWriMo project for the year! For the first time in ages I’ll be working on a brand new standalone novel: The Unmoving Mill (working title, extremely subject to change). Its two central characters are Baroness Salvanyei (left column) and Henli the Miller (right column).

Because I decided to be as self-indulgent as possible, it’s a gothic pastoral lesbian romance and finding-yourself-in-a-changing-world novel, and here’s hoping I can hit 50k again this year!
