Don't question why I added an apple-pin to her uniform, I just felt like drawing one.

I am actually surprised how well her eye turned out because the eyes/ face in general is always the hardest part for me to draw. (Not having to draw a second symmetrical eye was a huge help too)

It's been a while since I last posted about Ichi the Witch and even longer since my last AbyssalSnow fanart.

Originally, this wasn't supposed to turn into another AbyssalSnow drawing at all lol. I planned on drawing Desscaras with Ichi in this pose, because last chapter was focusing on their siblingism again and I am a huge sucker for found family. Recently, I sometimes kind of compared their dynamic to Break and Sharon from Pandora Hearts (which was the first manga I ever completed and is still one of my all time favorit mangas ever). They were what inspired this artwork:

But somehow Ichi morphed into Togeice halfway through drawing... I seriously need to practise drawing male characters sometime in the future because they always end up looking really bad when next to a woman.

Well, Togedess did have some scenes together in this chapter too, so I guess my impromptu switch up isn't that surprising.

I would love it if those two ended up as a couple in the end game, because I kinda ended up shipping them. Nishizono has already confessed her love an eternity ago and Hiroki still hasn't answered it properly if I remember correctly. (Well in their universe, it probably hasn't even been two weeks, but still)

I know that many people ship Hiroki/Minami | Glen/Veronica, but I personally can't really vibe with it. I can neither see Hiroki | Glen getting out of Minami | Veronica's friendzone, nor can I imagine Hiroki dating/ falling for a guy. Besides, I don't want such a sweet person like Nishizono to be heartbroken.

Ships aside, I can now fully understand why Natsuo Kumeta-sensei claims Hiroki to be the hardest character to draw lol. I did not plan for this to take 4+ hours, but I really like how it turned out. (Although I wish the difference between the black, grey and brown lines would be more visible)

The beginning of chapter 35 conveniently included a diagram of where each character is as the moment. Richia is at the palace and has just found out that the wanted criminals are wrecking chaos in town, thus getting worried about her dear little brother Gokuraku.

Meanwhile, Desscaras has told Kumugi to evacuate the citizens and soldiers towards the palace. Additionally, she is posing/ acting as a stand-in for Ichi and the swarm is following/ searching for her.

Kumugi is headed to the palace. If a worried Richia is trying to meet up with her wanted brother, she'll probably secretly watch the swarm's hunt for "Ichi" to find a moment to secretly meet and talk about the current situation.

When Richia notices that this is not Ichi, but Kumugi instead, she could realize that they are somehow connected. Kumugi would probably end up letting Richia in on their plan and Dess would keep them updated about the situation with Gokuraku and Ichi.

After understanding the situation, Kumugi could help Richia reach the place where Gokuraku is, where she could play a crucial role in getting her brother through this trial. In order to do that, she would probably have to face her own suppresed emotions and help Gokuraku overcome his rage, by not falling victim to her own sorrow like in those hallucinations Gokuraku is seeing.

(This definitly isn't me coping and hoping for Kumugi to be more plot relevant in this arc. Also, I have a feeling that Kumugi and Richia could become besties like Ichi and Gokuraku and I really want to see them interact with each other.)

I haven't posted anything in a while, because I have been quite busy lately. Now I am back with another Ichi the Witch yuri fanart, but this time it is not AbyssalSnow.

Ever since the Color Page from chapter 30 came out, I had the idea for this fanart in my head and I finally gave in to my desire to draw it.

I haven't seen even a single AnalyticGold (Shirabedonna x Monegold) fanart yet, no matter which plattform I am using to follow the fandom. I came up with the ship name myself too and kept it to the same naming system like AbyssalSnow.

There is a lot of yellow/ gold in Monegold's design and trying to make the different parts distinguishable was a bit annoying. Though, the black parts were even more annoying and I hope you can still make out where Shirabedonna ends and Monegold begins.

The majiks as vampires and the witches as vampire hunters; Desscaras as a human turned vampire

AbyssalSnow as childhood friends to lovers

Jikishirone (+ other vampires) attack, kill Desscaras family and kidnap Desscaras once vampire hunters (Shirabedonna and Monegold) appear

AnalyticGold takes Togeice under their wings and she becomes Monegold’s apprentice as a vampire hunter

years later while traveling for a mission they meet young Kumugi working and failing as a waitress in a restaurant because she ran away from home; Shirabedonna adopts her and lets her help with work on her vampire research

after being used as a blood bank by Jikishirone for ca 2 years, Desscaras (delicious) was turned into a vampire by her; onesided and toxic AbyssalOracle (Desscaras hates her)

Desscaras finds an abandoned Ichi in the woods and secretly raises him without the other vampires knowing

Desscaras finds a wounded Togeice in the woods and treats her injuries; gives her Ichi

Ichi meets scary ex-boss of vampire hunters Minakata (now retired because of disability after a fight) → mentor figure

Uroro as vampire king who is mad that he doesn’t have a male successor (Jikishirone and world-hater are his kids)

Jikishirone enjoys messing with Desscaras and world-hater; turns Bakugami (world-hater mega fan) into a vampire to annoy them

I've drawn another AbyssalSnow fanart. This time, it is inspired by that one chapter after World-Hater majik escaped and they were drinking together. Desscaras had way too much and now Togeice gives her Piggy-Back ride home.

After I read chapter 26, my brain started spiraling into some theories how the Bakugami arc could go.

Judging by princess Richia reaction to the conversation about her prayers, she probably knows something is off with Lord Bakugami.

If Ichi is the one to acquire this majik again, I would be kind of disapointed. There are different alternatives I can think of:

1) Gokuraku acquires it and becomes a second male witch (which would be a bit early if we really want to go that route of Ichi not being that special anymore).

2) Desscaras acquires it, but she already has countless majiks, to whom we haven't even been introduced to really.

3) Bakugami escapes (maybe with the help of World-Hater majik) and does not get acqired (yet).

4) Princess Richia acquires it to Bring peace to her country.

5) Kumugi gets her first majik.

I kinda hope for option 5 because I think Bakugami's ability (whatever it might be exactly) might fit her. Additionally, I don't think Bakugami's trial is something Ichi/ Desscaras/ Gokuraku can bruteforce and instead Kumugi might be the only one to meet the requirements.

I kinda like the trope of the weakest team member saving the day in a very dire situation. Also, this would finally give her a bit more plot relevance because she barely does anything at the moment beides information gathering and recapping.

I kind of ended up drawing the scene when princess Richia asks Kumugi for help after the rest of the team has failed to stop Bakugami. (And I might have started shipping them a bit because of those scenarios in my head. They should be of a similar age, right?)

I don't have a clue if my color scheme for Richia is even remotely close to the intended design.

Today, I ended up drawing Kumugi and genderbend Ichi, inspired by their first meeting in the manga. They are both students in the witch school in this, thus Ichi is (more or less) wearing the uniform too.
