Stopped at one of the most famous churches in movie history....seen in the final scene of THE GRADUATE (1967). The Oscar winning film was the 5th highest film of the 1960s (higher than Mary Poppins!). I took some exterior shots and the a delightful woman, Alma let me into the locked church and take photos inside. It was very cool!

I drove out to Tujunga, CA to visit a very famous movie location on Lonzo Drive...the home from E.T. where Elliott Taylor's family lived (and E.T. hung out!). The delightful home owner (on right) told me when she bought her house it was advertised as being E.T.'s next door neighbor! 1982 & Today!

90 years separate this ScenePast Then & Now moment from the 1928 Harold Lloyd film, SPEEDY. Location is in the neighborhood of DUMBO...and is one of the hottest areas in Brooklyn (and most expensive!)...well this corner can still use some polish but at least we can compare the buildings nearly a century later...

I was doing some movie location research for the classic film SUNSET BOULEVARD leading me to some Hollywood history fun. Here's the exact spot in 1930 & Today of the beautiful Sunset Medical Building which included Schwab's Pharmacy (just off camera to right). The location is Sunset Boulevard & Laurel Canyon.
