Scarlett

"Alright alright before it then." he said in a hint of a sigh but then again he did a breather to be honest from what had happened and talking with the Moriarty he had ran into so yes this would be nice to have some time with her.

"Good. Come on then." Scarlett tugged him after her. "My favorite place, just like you said." She squeezed his hand and brought him to the little pub. "They have the best fish and chips here."

"Just the two of us, lets enjoy ourselves before we talk to him shall we?" he asked to her in a smile. He wanted to have some time with her before he had their case knowing they would have some time together.

"Can you actually be patient enough to spend time with me before a big case?" Scarlett asked teasingly, but she stepped just a bit closer to him anyways. "Where shall we have dinner then?"

He knew she was trying to get through some past events, he just was trying to get through it step by step. He wanted to make sure she felt comfortable, this might of been abit awkward but he was the way he was it wasn’t really his fault. “Maybe it is, I just I guess…I just want to have a night with you. It’s hard for me admit those things.” he quietly admitted.

"I'd like that. I think that a night out with you would be... fun." Scarlett's hand slid down his arm until her fingers were lacing up with his. "No criminals. No investigations. No creepy stalkers. Just a night out on the town, the two of us."

"We’ll I know where to go your favorite place, and the usual but this time I know a better seating." he smiled in his usual, but he knew a better seating. He had a better amount of paying and he would be paying this time around so he knew how to get a better seat for the two.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think you were trying to turn it into a date." And part of her almost hoped he was. Sebastian was still very fresh in her mind, but he'd been killed nearly a year and a half ago now, and she knew she had to start moving on. And she couldn't deny that she and Jasper got along well.

"I’ll buy you dinner, not to worry. I owe you one as it is. Plus I have a feeling this nights going to be rather different." he said in taking her out of the flat towards the ball.

"I always get really hungry after I've been snooping around places I shouldn't be," she mumbled, trying to walk steady in her heels. The dress was a bit too long so she got large heels to help that problem, except she'd never walked in heels as tall as these before.

"We’ll the person we’re going to see at this ball or so to say try and get to talk with isn’t the best of guys. He’s a Moriarty thats the reason why I had told you know and why we’re going to a ball. Though he has some dignity to let us have some fun at the ball." he stated in a small weak smile.

"So what you're saying is that we're both in a lot of danger by going to this ball." Scarlett took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. "You'd better be buying me dinner for this, Holmes."

"Yea…I kind of had a feeling you would. It kind of last minute thing I didn’t mean for it to really happen really. It was either tell you now or later on. The guy would of known that you would be near us. So I had to tell you now."

"Exactly how much danger am I in by accompanying you to this ball?" Scarlett glanced up at him, taking his arm. Some things she could stomach; others, not so much. And she was really angry at him for yanking the carpet out from under her feet like this--how could he bring her into a situation she wasn't aware of? He knew she hated that.

"Ah yes about that, its on a case thats set at a ball. I hope you don’t to be my date there. Sorry I didn’t tell you ahead of time. I should of told you. Please don’t hit me."

"Jasper, a ball? And you want me to be your date? And you're just now telling me this? Oh, I'm going to hit you after this--not now, can't have a messed up face at a ball. But after."

"No problem but really do I mean it though. You look stunning."

"Well, you did tell me to dress nicely. Aren't we supposed to be investigating something at this party?"

"Well its just the lipstick looks rather beautiful on you is all."
