ReversingSoilErosion-Chile.mp4 from Carey Marks on Vimeo.
An animation illustrating a transdisciplinary model of intervention for stopping and reversing soil erosion trends, a model that was developed in the Rapel River Basin, Chile. Around 12 million hectares of agricultural land is being lost to desertification, degradation and drought every year … and specifically in terms of soil erosion, the equivalent of a football pitch of soil is being eroded every five seconds.

Meldgaard_Ash-Recycling-version3 from Carey Marks on Vimeo.
Recycling! Recycling! Recycling! - it seems to be on everyone's lips these days. Here's a simplified animation demonstrating how ferrous and non-ferrous meals can be extracted from ash recycling.
Issac Newton. “If I have seen further it is by standing on ye sholders of Giants. we are dwarfs perched on the shoulders of giants. We see more and farther than our predecessors, not because we have keener vision or greater height, but because we are lifted up and borne aloft on their gigantic stature." ----
