Your f/o is working late on something- writing, paperwork, building something, fixing something, ect ect. You’re in the same room, lying on the couch or curled up in the armchair.

You can hear the sounds of their work- them humming to themself, the clink of metal parts, the clack of keys, the music they have playing quietly on the radio. Whatever you can hear, the sound of them calmly working away starts to lull you to sleep, slowly and peacefully.

After a few minutes, they turn around to say something to you, and notice you’re fast asleep. They pause whatever they’re doing, find a blanket, and gently and carefully cover you with it before continuing.

laughing with your f/o...... laughing so hard both of your stomachs are hurting, you're crying, you can't breathe, you're both red in the face from laughing!!! the fact that you're laughing so hard makes you both laugh even harder and for so long you forget what was even so funny to begin with!!! its magic!!!

to go shopping together, making a list of what you need, one of you agrees to push thw cart while the other grabs things, maybe you or your f/o is the one to throw something not on the list into the cart, and the other finds it when you're checking out, laughing slightly as you scan it in.

doing the laundry with your f/o, dumping the pile of warm clothes on the bed, maybe there's a show playing in the background, or music, or maybe you're both sitting there chatting as you each fold the clothes.

cooking dinner together. Maybe you both can cook, or only one of you can, or neither, but whatever is the case you're laughing together as you cook, taste testing, sneaking bites as it cooks, getting distracted in each other for a moment, before you realize the timers been going off for a bit.

taking a shower with your f/o, fighting for the warmth of the water, taking turns washing each other's hair, those random shower thoughts you get, you can now bounce off your f/o, getting out and doing skin care together, or just sitting in bed wrapped up in towels as you talk about your night.

Going on a little trip just after the sun sets, maybe stopping by a store on the way to the destination for drinks and snacks together.

Setting out a warm blanket in an open field, no city lights or people in sight, just you and your f/o together under the stars.

Laying next to each other, or maybe your head is laying on their legs or stomach, as you both look up into the sky to find the brightest stars you ever seen.

Maybe one or both of you is really good at spotting all the different constellations in the sky,

or neither of you can find constellations, so instead you take turns making your own constellations.

And maybe, just maybe, your f/o will get lucky, and catch a shooting star flying through the sky,

Imagine your f/o noticing you’ve been just a bit too stressed lately, and they go above and beyond to make sure all the things making you unhappy go away!

Those chores piling up from lack of motivation? Done.

Not finding the willpower to get up and put much effort into your appearance – your partner is making extra sure you know they think you look amazing, no matter what!

Beating yourself up over the tiniest inconvenience? Your f/o is wonderful, as always, as they try and help navigate you through your many emotions and dilemmas.

Imagine them just being a touch more attentive and affectionate as they try their best to make you feel better!

beating the heat with your f/os!

maybe it's summer time where you are and the heat can be brutal so why make it a little easier and have your f/o(s) beside you.

are you a soak up the sun type of person? maybe taking them to the beach, getting sand everywhere or a fair to ride the rides would be a perfect day! top it off with ice cream or another frozen treat.

or maybe the sun isn't your cup of tea. Staying indoors with the fan or AC blowing. Sharing some fresh, cold fruit or an ice cold drink. perhaps all you can do is lay down at enjoy the cold air giving you a break from the heat. Anyway you wanna beat (or enjoy) the heat I just think it's fun having someone or a whole group to keep you company!

your f/os would support you wherever you are in your life btw

maybe you feel stuck in your current state, either dealing with work or school. with friends or family. with living situations or anything. you just don't feel good where you are at. your f/os support you, they know you might not be where you wanna be and perhaps they can't do much about it right now. but they can always lend you an ear if you need to vent your frustrations or sadness. help you find resources or be by your side for moral support.

we are all just trying to do our best in a pretty crazy world and it's good to remember that even after many many bad days, betters days can be found. even just better moments with those who care about you.

And after that stay, you notice they smile at you more warmly and seem more protective than before.
