So emotionally I’m really struggling right now. I was with this guy dating for three years engaged for two.. has everything been easy honestly no.. we’ve been through a lot. I’ve sacrificed so much… my relationship with my family especially my brother (he’s my best friend) and my dad because I would always defend him. I was always ignoring and overlooking the petty things he would do and say… recently I thought every was good and we were getting on track working on being on the same page.. he texted me saying he was thankful for me being a good support system and thanking me for being patient with him… and just last week he went behind my back and told my mom and some others that I’m too hard on him and nothing he does is good enough and he doesn’t feel respected or appreciated.. just this past Friday he said he wanted to talk which led to him saying he wanted to take a break.. when I told him I know about what he said he tried to justify what he said by saying he didn’t mean it. I feel like he was just gaslighting me and stringing me along. Now he’s acting as if he’s the victim… I feel like my mind is all over the place and i really don’t know what to do or think.. I’m 30 he’s 38.. this was my first serious relationship… I feel so hopeless and broken… like I’m not angry I’m just hurt and I don’t know what to do…
