chronically homesick

this is because my dr feels really really familiar to me. i feel like i'm already there. so when there are little bits and pieces of information, it's like i remember something that already happened or is happening or will happen. i probably dont even plan or choose anymore. it's second nature.

most of these things "came to me in a vision". and they always make perfect sense too. it fits the people's personalities as if they are real people (they are!) who i already know (i do!)

i wonder if i would feel the same way if i wasn't a shifter and my dr was just an imagination daydream world. like if i knew deep down it wasn't real, would i still feel like i know my "characters" really well?

though your circumstances are very real and they feel so big and scary to you, nothing you are describing means you are failing, slow, or running out of time. there’s genuinely no such thing. what you’re experiencing is fear talking and fear always creates the illusion of urgency. consciousness does not operate on deadlines or rely on linear time, time does not exist and there is only now. the future and the past only exist in the mind, there’s only right now and either you have it right now or you don’t, that’s for you to decide.

time is such a big deal in the community and sometimes it can be hard (for me) to get people to understand that time is not your enemy nor is it something you should care about as a concept. time is a byproduct of awareness moving, that’s it. the concept of time and clocks and calendars was created, it’s not an inherent rule or law of the universe. we do not live our lives on a specific timeline, we create the timeline in our minds by comparing our journeys to other people’s and by relying on the 3d to tell us what’s real and what’s not.

your brain just wants to keep you safe and you do not feel safe right now so of course the void or whatever else you’re doing feels impossible. you don’t need to outrun your circumstances with techniques and the pressure you’re putting on yourself is actually the thing making you feel stuck. manifestation is not a race against the clock and no technique will get you anywhere in this state because techniques don’t manifest, you do.

you are never running out of time, you have to learn this. the only thing thinking about time does is stress you out and look how far that’s gotten you. focusing on time means you’re focused on the 3d and if you had what you wanted in your 4d why would you be looking at the 3d? the only reason things take a long time to manifest is because you guys assume it does. if you’re persisting in the assumption that you’re not getting it when you want to get it… congrats, you just manifested not getting it when you wanted.

Okay so we as shifters literally have the keys to the multiverse however it seems "unrealistic" drs or scenarios still seem to be quite controversial so let's destigmatize "unrealistic" drs or scripts together let's all share 1 "unrealistic" dr or thing we have in our dr

I shall go 1st: I have a dr where I'm an f1 driver and a kpop idol and model at the same time

i think that my most 'unrealistic' dr is my vampire diaries universe one because the vampires can procreate in that reality. they can have children with other vampires or wolves or witches or humans, it doesn't matter. rebekah mikaelson motivated me to script this 💗

Im not going to lie I think all of my DR’s are pretty insane and I couldn’t pick just one so ima do one from all of my DR’s

In my fame I start off a drummer then go off to be a singer, then go into acting all the while I’m running a very success makeup brand and raising like a million kids.

In my supernatural DR Amara had a baby with Alastair (me) and then Chuck retaliated by having his own kid (Abbi), so…

In my MCU DR I single handedly brought down Sokovia (killing all the remaining robots) oh and I accidentally brought my puppet dragon to life

My Vamp DR (different from my TVDU DR) I made my own lore for vamps/ wolves. The sun doesn’t affect vamps (in direct sunlight you can see that their different but they don’t sparkle or burn, they’re just deathly pale)

TVDU DR I think the ‘unrealistic’ aspect of this DR is how normal the day to day is? In general things are a lot more chill. We defend ourselves of course but we’re not starting shit for no reason lol

I think most of my DRs are pretty unrealistic, especially since most have some kind of supernatural element!

My Roswell DR I'm juggling working full time as an undercover agent, driving between San Francisco, Tucson, and Roswell to visit friends/family, and helping my parents with their farm.

My Quarry DR I'm studying zoology, working at a pet store, and an active pack member in a werewolf pack.

stop gripping onto reality so tight . there is no fixed way to manifest or shift , nor is there a default reality . nothing "must" go a certain way . it's all bullshit . shifting realities shouldn't feel like you're resisting something . you shouldn't be fighting reality , not when it's the result of your assumptions .

" oh but rowan ! i've been repeating affirmations and ignoring my 3d and nothing's happened !" i mean this in the nicest , loving-est way possible , but i fear there's something going on behind the scenes with you that's influencing it . not victim blaming , just pointing it out .

you may feel like you believe wholeheartedly in your affirmations ... but you're assuming that you have to try really hard to "change" reality ( or well , shift ) . or ! you swear you've been ignoring everything ... but you're overcomplicating it and flinching at the smallest sign that the 3d is NOT following your assumptions ( which , well , is not possible ) .

WHICH REALITY EXACTLY ?

the one where you're convinced you're powerless and have no choice ? where spending 8 hours a day doing work you hate to buy things you don't need is considered “ normal ” ? where anxiety and depression are just “ part of life ” and being unhappy is considered “ realistic ” rather than changeable ? where it's supposedly LOGICAL to limit yourself to one identity , one personality , one set of experiences for 80+ years despite the consciousness being infinite ?

OR the reality where your awareness shapes your experience and you've always had infinite options ?

shift. don't shift. manifest. don't manifest. live however makes you happy but stop letting people who abandoned their own dreams talk you out of yours. you definitely don't need studies to validate your personal experiences , nor are you obligated to convince skeptics of your reality. the most rebellious thing you can do in a world that's accepted limitation is refusing to accept it yourself. whether that's through shifting , manifesting or just simply believing there's more to existence than what you've been told

PROTECT YOUR CURIOSITY.

I feel like we don't see it that way sometimes, but just like you can manifest in your CR (here), you can also manifest in your DR.

Reality is fluid. I feel like we forget this sometimes.

Your DR is just another reality, just like the other realities that you shift into daily without even noticing. You shift into those realities (imo ofc) through your assumptions.

it is true that the moment you decide to shift, you do. this is because your awareness is not attached to anything, it will simply do what you want it to do because it is you. you’re not your thoughts, your doubts, or even your feelings. you are the observer of those things.

so if that’s the case, why are you still having difficulty experiencing the shift in the 3d?

well, dear reader, the reason for that is simple. your awareness may move instantly, but it’s still funneled through your mind. your mind is still the thing that has to register, “oh yeah, we’re in a different reality now.” therefore, if your mind is going through a bunch of hoopla, it’s more likely for it to just miss the shift even though it already happened.

think of it like switching radio channels. the channel changes instantly. awareness = your hand turning the dial up or down. if you’re wearing headphones blasting your own music, you won’t hear the new channel. nothing blocked the switch. you saw yourself make the decision to turn the dial and do it. but you didn’t consciously hear the music change and you won’t until you take the headphones off.

well, how do i take the headphones off then?

by dropping the idea that the 3d is the baseline in which you measure reality from. the only reason people don’t notice their shift is cause they’re still looking to the 3d to prove to them that their awareness shifted. you must trust yourself, trust your awareness and stop giving the 3d that authority. there’s nothing to “check” against!

whatever you say goes, goes. your awareness follows because that is the law. ironically, it is when you fully adopt that attitude that you will notice instantaneous shifts. because you’re not waiting for confirmation from something outside your awareness. you’re letting awareness define the moment by itself.

the next time you go to set intention you want to have your mind and awareness in alignment. fully agree (and feel) that your 3d isn’t your reference point anymore. release expectation of what it should feel like or how long it should take. it takes no time because awareness shifts instantly and you are awareness.

then when you set your intention you can do a few things: (choose which suits you best OR do your own thing)

1. envision your dr and imagine each sense. narrate it in your head like you’re looking around right then and there.

2. embody your dr self’s mind. what would you be thinking in your dr? who are you? what are you doing?

3. just surrender. breathe. set your intention with a simple and clear phrase. don’t repeat yourself or try to convince yourself. just accept it and be.

finally, if you catch yourself slipping back into checking, simply redirect by repeating one of these steps. not in a desperate “oh it’s not working, i failed, let me start over way.” it’s just to ease your mind. and if you’re really chill, you can just ignore the thought. it means nothing!

okay so i was in the kitchen and heard my mom walking by so i decided to go to a universe where my mom comes to the kitchen and asks me "ah do we have any tea left.. im really craving some.". (i know its silly lollll)

i sat, envisioned her in the kitchen, looking at our teapot, saying it and my reaction when she says it. i made myself believe that it was going to happen and didnt let any doubt come.

then she really came to the kitchen and started to do her own things. i just sat and watched her and kept visualizing, then i was like "okay its gonna happen in a few minutes, i dont have to worry no more." and started to wash dishes and talk to her about random things. just when i forgot about it, she looks at the teapot, and tells me the exact thing i wanted her to say😭😭😭 i just froze and started laughing so hard lollllll
