Seriously though I can’t get over how crucial it is to Caitlyn’s journey this season just how much she deeply values Vi butting heads with her and giving things to her straight. the blunt forthrightness that no one else in her life has ever given her in quite the way Vi does. the depth of how much she loves and respects Vi is directly interlinked with how guilty she feels about the way they parted and evidenced in how she handles the Jinx situation later on: the way she waits for Vi to recover so they can discuss it together, and when Vi demonstrates, both through her words and the way she storms out on “who decides who gets a second chance?” that Vi no longer has the faith and trust that Caitlyn will listen to her opinions that she had before, she knows she will need to earn that back, and she wants it back. hence, facilitating Vi freeing Jinx, if she feels it is the right thing to do, and standing by Vi in that decision, because she sees clearly now what’s most important, and she wants Vi to know that
