As we all fail to recognise the rot growing on your ribs, as we all fail to recognise that which eats your limbs, your eyes, your throat, your face, as we fail to recognise that what you see in the mirror is not what we see, as we fail to recognise the shell that you are, we will expect more, we will call you dramatic for the attempts of survival that you do, as we fail to recognise the stench of hatred released by your veins, by your blood, we will be disappointed, dissatisfied, as we fail to recognise your attempts to be that which you are expected to be, we will call you lazy, as you lay in bed thanks to the painful rot that covers you lungs, your heart, your throat, as we watch you struggle, we will fail to recognise it, as we watch you avoid the edge not for fear of heights but of the fear of reaching out to finality once and for all, we will fail to recognise it, and we will make fun of it, as you become more "fearless" we will find it amusing, see it as an act of bravery, instead of recognising it as the act of exhaustion that it is, play with knifes, because if you slip up, then maybe, just maybe, finality will be there, launch that knife up, catch it, do it again, and again, and again, hoping to bleed, do it again, as we fail to recognise the ever increasing chance of finality, with the many options that you have and as nothing seems to change, grab a rope grab the pills grab the knife grab that finality as we fail to recognise how appealing it starts to look for you, bleed in the bathtub and die at night, they will always be too late, take the pills before sleeping, all of them, feel your body fail at the flood you gave it, they won't be awake when they give up, watch the edge and make a final jump, one that will mean an end, not a jump of progress but one of release, not freedom, that's not freedom, but release, one last jump, they will not catch you in time, and we will still fail to recognise your attempts to avoid it, so many choices and we will not see any of them, so many chances and we won't recognise your attempts to evade them, so many times so many of them, as your last option is to run, run, run, run, run, run, run and run, but your legs are not meant to run, last time you tried they snapped and now what, will you try to run again? No you wont, watch us, so perfect, unlike your awful structure, watch us perfect, yet still failing to recognise that which you are
