Al batir tus alas dentro de mi tórax

te abriste paso en mi corazón y su niebla purpurina.

Tengo recuerdos de tu cantó en mi pecho,

del más dulce piar de los anhelos.

Hice mal, al alimentarme de veneno e interés ciego.

Dejé libre al ave que anidaba dentro mío.

Aunque no estés ¡Escucha! grito de mi pecho vacío:

Te honró y te amo, entre cielos y mares, atardeceres y amaneceres son testigos de mis buenos deseos.

Aunque este marinero navega hacia aguas más turbias, jamás bajará la frente cuando le pregunten si eran hermosos los momentos en que en su corazón cantaba un ave.
