Sastiel Stories

Coming up to 3 years ago, I posted the first chapter of this Sam x Castiel fanfic story...

and since then, I am yet to post the next chapter.

I have been thinking a lot about catching up with this story and publishing the next chapter fairly soon. I still stand by this idea and am adamant on finishing it one day as the idea really interests me and I love the 80's so it's partly why the story is set in that time period. But also - Sam, Dean and Cas being cops? Why the hell not?

Just as a gentle reminder considering how long it has been, this is the story's basic premise:

The year is 1989. Sam Winchester is a detective for the Chicago PD whose whole life is the job. He is socially inept and seriously damaged from the pain of losing both his parents. Broken but stubborn, he refuses to let almost anyone become close to him again. But when he’s forced to have a partner after screwing up a lead in the biggest case of his life, he has no choice but to work alongside Castiel, another detective who turns his whole life upside down. Unable to escape from his charm and good natured self, Sam feels he’s been punished. But is it really hate that he feels for this man, or is he feeling something else that he hasn’t felt in years?

Chapter 12 - Serenity (available now)

summary - While trying to enjoy his time with Sam in his apartment and a simple rewatch of one of his favourite films of all time, the night soon takes a different turn that leaves Castiel utterly bewildered.

Chapter 11 - Modesty

This was the moment where it would all change from now on. Sam had no idea what to expect, but he could feel his confidence begin to slip away the moment he stepped into new territory. He was struggling to maintain his composure in front of the man whose opinion had now become the most important one in the whole universe. How small he had come to feel in his presence compared to how he felt at the beginning of the night.

I'm sorry for not having it together recently with the whole writing Sastiel fanfiction thing - life got in the way and stuffs soooo now I'm trying to play catch up.

Regarding Electric Indigo, I am currently writing chapter 10 which should be up very very soon (tomorrow hopefully). For anyone who got behind reading it, there is chapter 8 and 9!! (I know a couple of you might not had read it because you were beautiful commenting people ❤️)

It is coming along quite well I think!

Now, with Straight Back Down To Earth - it is has been my baby for years that I have carefully nurtured and nourished and honestly... I've actually become afraid to release all of it in case you don't like it 😅🙈

I really believe it has the potential to be a really great story if you stick around for it. I'm asking you guys to please be patient because honest to god chapter 2 has been difficult as hell to get exactly right, whereas chapter 3 is basically done lol so it's been written with gaps at the moment. Please bare with me and I swear, it should be decent!

Lastly, I've been aiming to write more but of course I don't want to start writing anymore stories when I already have two ongoing ones. However - I still have great ideas...

The Wilhelm Scream - Technically this one actually has its first chapter that I wrote years ago. Again, it's a novella type story (I don't go in half-assed) and it's a canon divergent story really. It's a what if Castiel had fallen from Heaven because of rebellion, because he was assigned to watch over Sam and Dean, but basically the rest of it would go along the same lines, but with Cas there from season 1 instead of season 4 essentially. Oh, and there's a chance he's in love with Sam before he actually officially meets him. And Gabriel is with him constantly.

The navy au one where Sam is a newly recruited seaman and Cas is a captain of the ship. Potentially set in WWII time or a couple years after and obviously homosexuality was illegal at the time but you know, it's the whole forbidden love and passion type story that we can all enjoy.
