Agotan
Cait y Sam en Vogue Magazine, entrevista de Reshma Gopaldas
Derretida con estos dos.
"When I first touched those stones, it wasn't a choice. And I don't know if it was fate or destiny. But what I do know is that I am meant to be here."
Outlander Season 8 official trailer
Okay this might be a long message so apologies in advance… I stumbled upon your page, among others, because I wanted to look into how the Outlander fans were reacting to the new trailer. I personally know both Olafur and Steph, and I knew Talos (Eoin). I don’t know Sam, but here’s what I can say about some of the things being said.
Firstly, Steph is seen by those who know her as a genuinely kind person. She moved in with Eoin only after his diagnosis, and took care of him the entire time (10 months) he was sick. I know for a fact she never left his side while he was in hospice, and was also working two jobs while also putting herself through her masters.
Secondly, Steph is definitely still working now, and also volunteering. I won’t say where (but it’s not Sam’s charity, lol).
Thirdly, I also know that the music for the trailer was a completely serendipitous thing- (you can see Olafur’s comment on the show’s post). I know that’s hard to believe, but Steph made a post about how it was a complete coincidence and how it felt “surreal and divine”. I don’t know whether she gets royalties from it but I know that it meant a lot to them both (Olafur and her) in any case.
Lastly, I also know that Steph is still extremely close to all of Eoin’s friends and family. They all love her and seem to be really happy for her. I believe Eoin would be happy too. She’s a caring person and a good mum.
I’m sending this to you and a couple other sites I found that said some things that I interpret as just wrong. Maybe this isn’t the narrative you want to hear, and maybe you’ll choose to not share this, but I thought I’d shed some light on the truth (or at least what I’ve observed to be the truth). Take care.
I think your point of view is perfectly valid, but from mine: THE WIFE OF CAESAR MUST NOT ONLY BE, SHE MUST ALSO APPEAR TO BE. And the fandom’s perception, largely fueled by a blogger of questionable reputation and by some of Steph’s actions on Instagram, has made that perception mostly negative. Not because she is or isn’t Sam’s real-life partner, but because of how she has tried to play with the fandom. When her attempts to sell the reality of that relationship, never actually confirmed by Sam, have managed to unite two of the most important factions in the fandom, shippers and antis alike, in agreeing that it’s absolute trash and blatant manipulation, then something has clearly gone wrong. Because public trust rests not only on facts, but on how those facts are perceived, and in the eye of the fandom, perception weighs just as much as reality. And remember: the fandom doesn’t forget, doesn’t forgive, and never blinks...
I hope the anonymous person reads this, I really do, because first of all, I don't understand what he's (or she's) doing on Tumblr trying to whitewash someone. The entire fandom of this space doesn't have the necessary impact on the media world, neither to promote a relationship that no mainstream media outlet is paying the slightest attention to, nor for any "slander" that might be spread about this person to have any real impact on her life.
Being the partner of a celebrity, if you're not famous yourself, requires a great deal of skill to hold your own with dignity. The moment you try to shift the spotlight onto yourself, you lose all credibility regarding your relationship with that person.
Transactional is a word that's been used a lot in this space; however, the only approach it's taken has been economic. I'm here to bring the emotional perspective, because in that area of life, there are also transactions, when it comes to the relationships we establish. When fame is involved, you need a truly ethical person so that these emotional transactions are transparent, honest, deep, and meaningful, especially for the famous person, who, although it may not seem like it, is quite vulnerable, losing the certainty of what motivates people to approach them. It's terrible, because for a celebrity, the emotional transaction can mean that they always have to be the bargaining chip when those around them aren't famous. Therein lies the dilemma, and therein lies the importance of honesty in those who approach them.
For the person you're defending, it would have been better to remain completely unnoticed; no one would be talking about her, and all these insinuations wouldn't be circulating here. However, she chose to expose her daughter, and herself, by making her account public, precisely to reveal the biggest and only insinuation that came from her. The rest of the shared information has been disseminated through an account with dubious credentials, an account that has been spreading supposed private information from a no-longer-public account. You can go to that account and tell your acquaintance that supposed photos of her and her daughter are circulating online after she made her account public, posted photos that seemingly linked her to the celebrity you haven't even met (and whom she certainly should have protected), and allowed people completely unfamiliar with her life to follow her for quite some time and share private information. In these cases, throwing the stone and hiding your hand can be very costly, because the spotlights turned towards you require composure and the ability to handle them without letting them blind you.
Whether or not you know this person, the reason for being here, telling us things that don't match the image we had of her, remains unclear. It's quite likely that what's being said won't affect you at all; in fact, it's quite likely that it won't affect her either, so your contact will be relegated to the memory of: the efforts made to repair the irreparable. We owe this person nothing, and she owes us nothing. Her connection to the celebrity in question is entirely their own business, so your effort to show us the unknown side of someone we have no interest in knowing won't make any difference.
Finally, I want to add that being overly nice doesn't look very good when what's said about you doesn't match your actions, because your deeds speak louder than words. I think your acquaintance is better off not trying to attract attention; she's not interesting or important today, and she'll be even less so in time. And if she has a connection to the celebrity in question, it's quite likely he's happy that way, because he's extremely protective of those he loves, and he definitely doesn't want unnecessary attention focused on them. His circle knows this very well, and they've always maintained their composure, because what connects them to this celebrity isn't what he can offer them, but rather meaningful relationships.

Sam used to be the best comedian, but now the prudish girls and marketing experts say he's not funny at all.
Go on with your lives, ladies, and that's it.

I hope, and expect, that it's clearly understood that: (1) this isn't a current video (look at Macbeth); (2) he's preparing a drink that, par excellence, is taken for hangovers; (3) he's an accomplished prankster, and in full performance of his acting skills, he's acting like the person who wakes up with a hangover to prepare something for their discomfort (it's worth remembering his hangover performance in the Lallybroch episode of Season 1); (4) he's not JAMMF, for all those who suffer from cognitive dissonance and are alarmed because the guy isn't "the King of Men," although he is an excellent person, because 13 years of random people talking about his kindness, charisma, and commitment, I don't think that's paid advertising by Starz or PR.
Anyone who isn't comfortable with their social media content, or the way they handle their own issues, should stop exposing themselves to it; it's a breath of fresh air for your mental health. Personally, I laughed a lot because the name of that sauce is unpronounceable 🤭🤭🤭🤭, to the point that around here we call it "English sauce." I really like Sam Heughan! 😁
Let's not give that silly tattoo or anything connected to that b.s. narrative anymore air time. Don't take the bait, no matter how much and how often it is pushed to our faces. They win when it is talked about. Let it die a natural death! JMHO.
Unfortunately some people thrive on drama
Hard times will always reveal true friends.
Desconocido
Bah!
Google translate ⬇
Bah! All this fuss over Sam’s fake flings, and here comes Starz losing it, publishing a classic shipper among the harmless photos. At this rate, the only thing they’ll have left in the back pocket is the audition kiss. If they post it, Houston has a problem and a big one 🤣
Desperation is their contingency plan. They always hastily resolve what they calmly ignored because the bigger the problem, the more clumsy the solution.

Sam’s IG has basically become a showcase for his businesses. What about Outlander? Anyone know?
Without a past, the present limps. His potential customer base comes from his time in Hollywood; people follow an actor, not a liquor entrepreneur there are plenty of those. It's a shame he's erasing 10 years of his life like that, including the months he spent playing Macbeth, but who are we to question his decisions? Forty-five years is a passport fat enough for him to travel wherever he wants and fly without anyone's permission.
Better Together
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing, but I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a shoe box of photographs
With sepia-toned loving
Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together
Mmm, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, we'll look at the stars when we're together ✨
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
And all of these moments
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they'll be gone
When the morning light sings
Or brings new things
For tomorrow night you see
That they'll be gone too
Too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
Into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
I was somewhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
Or places we got to be
We'll sit beneath the mango tree now
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
Mmm, we're somewhere in between together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
I believe in memories
They look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now and, and when I wake up
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time
And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We're better together

Look here, not there.
There’s one theory that makes a lot of this mess suddenly click: that what we’re seeing publicly is not a failed narrative, but a deliberately loud smoke screen meant to protect a higher value private truth. If our belief that Sam and Caitriona have been together for years is true, then the current chaos does not read like a badly executed image building. It reads like diversion and defense.
In that version, Steph is not the main story. She’s the lightning rod. The point is to attract the attention, the outrage, the timeline wars, the “PROOF” obsession, and all the fandom heat. The weirder and more staged it feels, the better it works, because everyone is busy arguing about screenshots and sightings instead of looking at who is actually where, with whom, and when.
The more amateur and staged this whole circus looks, the more effective it is as a distraction. Because it is not really meant to convince anyone who pays attention. It is meant to generate noise. Weird timing, blurry photos, “sources” that appear and disappear, little details that do not quite add up. That is exactly what fuels endless discourse and keeps everyone busy arguing about the mess, instead of looking at what might be happening quietly off camera. A loud, messy story is always better camouflage than a real relationship that stays low key.
Just as an example, we were sold this story that Sam and Steph spent the holiday together with her daughter at his place in Glasgow, without a single photo that actually proves it, other than a picture of a tree. In reality, it is entirely possible that the street photo was taken earlier in the month. Same goes for Sam's running story. And it is very possible he did not even go straight back to Scotland from the US at all.
If that sounds cynical, it is. But it also explains why so much of this feels unnatural. In this theory, the fandom’s disgust and exhaustion is not a failure. It’s the point. Because the perfect place to hide a real, steady private life is behind a public narrative that everyone finds embarrassing enough to stop looking at too closely.
Happy new year, everyone. Here’s hoping 2026 brings us some peace, some calm, and an amazing, chemistry-filled promo.
At last, this is what some of us have been saying all along; look here, not there. It’s not the first time this has happened; not the first time he’s drawn all the attention to himself and been called childish, a buffoon; not the first time friends and family have been involved; not the first time his business acumen has been brought into question; not the first time T has acted as a diversion.
The appearances, the clothing swap, the tattoos, the child, the sightings where a yellow hat points us at a just visible couple, dropping photos to the most gullible-seeming blogger on the planet.
It is the first time that I can remember that so many new faces have come here and helped to draw a picture, deliberately or not, turning us into tumbleweed blown hither and yon, from the Tattoo, the wedding, the motorbike display, the monument, all distractions away from what is really going on,
The tree doesn’t prove anything, nobody was in the house bar its owner, this is where we should be looking
Happy Holidays!
