welcome to magnolia creek: a logging town hollowed out by time, built on soil that was never clean, over a gate to something older and hungrier than anyone alive can name.

halloween, 1990. the night everything tore. six slayers stood on a football field and faced something that shouldn't exist. six townspeople died. one slayer went through the gate to close it and didn't come back. the remaining five fractured, scattered by grief, guilt, and the particular violence of surviving something nobody else can see. the town buried it. the slayers buried each other.
