Her name is Tibisay Izaguirre. She was originally born in Merida, Venezuela, but emigrated to Canada due to the political situation in her country.

Right img. is T at 8 and right img. is T in her teens. Middle pics are the way she likes to tie her hair up at her part-time job she goes after school.
Tibisay's mom and Eli's mom were pen pals, so she brought her daughter to little Eli's birthday, and that's how they met

Language barriers were not an impediment for their friendship that flourished for their feelings for slugs
their feelings are not the same... she hates them (blennophobic) and he loves them (guess why)
but the intensity is the same and that's why they're best friends ^^
at 10 Eli's mom disappeared, he left to live with a relative. He was farther from her now and couldn't just walk to his house. They only saw each other at school
At 12 he skipped school saying he had training to do with his uncle
At 14 Eli started to act... strange
and at 15 he disappeared.
She was the only one that grieved his absence, the world kept spinning and their family kept living their lives.
Without Eli, who went missing one starry night of January, barely a day after his birthday.
She still looks for him, near the river where they hunted slugs, hoping he's there with a net on his palm and ready for another adventure
