Great painting with a funny name. I can't post it here directly because it's almost eight metres wide. The file is too large and it's not worth the effort to compress it to fit Tumblr's limit because the resolution would be too low to appreciate anything.

The painting is also intended to be viewed from the right to the left as that is the direction Chinese is traditionally written in (top to bottom and right to left). Look at the full-resolution file in the Wikipedia link to see all the details.

last night i did a drawing of a game state in hangman. i wasn’t playing hangman, i was just drawing a moment in the game, like a still life. my friend tried to guess a letter & i had to tell her, no, we’re not playing it, it’s just a drawing of hangman, you’re losing the distinction between reality & fiction
