when sara sat down across from her, bella knew that something was going to end up happening. “for the school musical, i’m auditioning for the role of mimi. i think i would be a perfect mimi to be honest,” the latina expressed her feelings for the role but she slipped over the lyrics for the songs she had picked out for her audition. “what about you?” 

Sara let out a quiet groan at the girls words, “The school is doing another musical?” She had to stop and think for a moment about where she knew the characters name from, being forced to watch musicals on family night finally paid off. “I’m guessing it’s Rent?” She started, “And you’re going for Mimi..” The red head looked her over, taking her time before answering “I don’t see why you shouldn’t go for it, honestly. As long as you give it your all, no point in doing anything if you’re going to half ass it.” She sighed “My dad is totally going to guilt trip me into auditioning for this..”

Alivia glared as she took a sit in front of her. “Please with your parents I wouldn’t be surprised if your dad had you singing ol’ mcdonalds while petting a cow.” she spit back. “You do know there is plenty of other sits for you or are you just lonely?

“Oh, he sure did have me singing Ol’ McDonald, but I don’t recall petting you while doing it.” Sara tilted her head sightly to the side and flicked her head behind her shoulder, smirking like her comment was the funniest thing ever said. “Are you trying to tell me you don’t love our little talks?”

Looking up as the door opened to the ice cream shop, Celeste noticed Sara walking in and let a smirk grace her face at the sight of the red head. She went back to scrolling on her phone when she felt someone standing at her table. Placing her phone down, the blonde watched as the other ate the cherry from her milkshake, “I know, I was finished with it.”

Sara flicked the stem out of her fingertips and smiled at the very familiar blonde in front of her. She leaned over the table, resting her hand on the corner for support. Taking her finger she swiped it along the remaining ice cream in the bowl, licking it off and tasting the sweet vanilla. “I can’t believe you ate a sundae without me.” She started, “I thought we were all about enjoying sweet things with each other.”

Winnie needed a pick me up. Normally she would preoccupy her time without sweets, especially ice cream with her lactose intolerance but something about a sundae was just calling her name. Sitting down at a booth, she had sat there for a good while debating if she should even eat it despite just paying for it. She thought about how she could just bag it up and if she put it in her freezer quick enough, she could just save it for her dad or her brother. Eyeing just the hand that picked up the cherry off of her sundae, she met her eyes up at the redhead. “Thanks for stating the obvious,” she responded, standing up to become at eye level with the girl. “Touch my food again and I’ll step on your fuckin’ neck.”

Sara rolled her eyes at the blondes threatening comment, but refused to give it any verbal reply. She knew better, she knew that she wouldn’t win in anything against her. Looking next to her at the booth, she slid into the side closest to her. “My hands are off, it’s all yours” She gestured to the other side of the table. Sara glanced around the restaurant quickly, making eye contact with the waiter making his way around to customers. She waved him over and put in an order for a simple vanilla milkshake before returning her attention, “It’s okay if I join you, right?” 

harley was doing nothing but minding her own business at the ice cream shop. she had the intentions of doing homework, but that slipped her mind the second she got on her phone. ❝ so what if it is ? maybe i like it that way. is it bothering you ? ❞

Sara shrugged her shoulder, tilting her head slightly as she looked between the ice cream and it’s owner. “I just think it's a perfectly good waste of such a sweet snack.” She tossed the stem onto the table, “Don’t you think?” 

bella sat down in a booth with some papers with lyrics printed on them. since she was working on her auditioning song for the auditions this week. “and who asked - oh,” the youngest member of lopez-pierce was about to hop up but when she saw the redhead, she settled back down in her seat. “i was going to get to it.. soon, i’ve been distracted.” 

Sara curiously looked down to the papers when she mentioned a distraction. “Let me see.” She sat down across from her. Sticking her nose where it didn’t belong, like always. She took the cherry pit from her lips and set it down on a napkin sitting near the sundae bowl, reaching her arm across the table with her hand out to see if she’d be given the papers.

Alivia was watching videos of rent to make sure she wouldn’t fudge up her audtion monday when she looked up to find a red head eating her cherry. “are you serious? were you raised in a barn?” she said squinting her eyes at sara.

Sara threw the stem on the table and smiled, sliding onto the other chair across from the other girl. “A barn?” She faked gasped, “It’s almost like you’re mixing up our childhood homes.” She looked her old friend up and down from where they both sat, tilting her head to the side and still grinning “Such a silly girl.”

“ well since my whole business is out there already, yes I am pregnant, and yes I have no clue who the hell the dad, and yes my life is falling apart. but as I said before If you got some shit to say you can say it loud and proud to my face “ Dallas said sighing. “now if you excuse me, I have some chicken waiting for me to eat it “ 

“I mean..” Sara started “I had no plans on commenting on it at all really, but since you brought it up.” She raised her eyebrows slightly “There goes the rest of your life out the door.” Thinking about the girls words, she commented again “But, it sounds like you had fun getting to this point.”
