#DJFatChip Goes Shopping: Kickstarter Edition ↪ And I left the best for last! ♡ Well, at least to me as DAO is my favorite game of the series. ♡ These are the last of the Dragon Age pins I backed from @thewindsnocturneshop Dragon Age Romance Kickstarter last year! ♡ I still need a few more to collect and then my Dragon Age Collection would be complete! ♡ Thank you so much Kate for creating such beautiful art and sharing it with the world! ♡ I would take pictures of them in groups but I wanted to show them individually and up close! ♡ They are so stunning! ♡

Summary: Isabela is vague about her days as a sea captain, though it’s obvious she was involved with piracy and smuggling. Shortly after the Blight ended, Isabela’s ship was caught in a storm near the Wounded Coast. The vessel was destroyed, and Isabela feels lucky to have escaped with her life. Now she’s stranded in the Free Marches, spending most of her time in the Hanged Man tavern.

During the Qunari crisis Isabela returned surprising everyone, most of all Isabela, herself. She blamed Hawke for inspiring her to such foolishness, and seemed to regret exposing herself to danger.

CONFESSION:

I admired Cassandra’s personality, and felt her personal quests with the Seekers told a compelling story. However, I felt her romantic story was too rushed.

I like this quote of hers. “I am blunt, and difficult, and self-righteous. But my heart lies beneath all that. …what enamors you is but the surface.” Most of the flirting options appear before learning about Cassandra’s romantic side. I can only think of one time you can flirt with her after discovering this side of her, and it’s very brief. Any further romantic actions lead straight into the love scene, rather than more chances at dialogue with her. This left me feeling like, “I kinda want to know more about romantic Cassandra before finalizing a relationship with her first.” Then I think her love scene was the most rushed and awkward part of her romance. First, you can’t give her the flowers you bought, which was a missed opportunity. Then after reading what she thinks is an unimpressive poem, you immediately share your first kiss with her and your first time having sex together. She then kills the mood by unprovokedly mentioning the death of her former lover. Finally, if you say “I love you,” she just replies with, “I believe you.”
