This is what computer  🖥 means - 'to compute' is to calculate. To compute is to calculate or keep track of 🔢 numbers. We can easily call our mind a computer; if the computer is malfunctioning, there is a bug or virus 🦠, maybe it won't compute properly. If the calculator has a problem, it won't give you the right answer or right equation. Our 🧠 mind does the calculation of our ✨ emotions. If the mind is not sound, the calculation of emotions is wrong. I have 🤔 thought a lot about this, and after 3 hours of considerate pondering, I am able to say that the mind is our calculator and it calculates our emotions and if our mind is not sound, its calculation creates a big mess in our life. The question is, how to detox our mind?🧠 The answer is, our mind is like a mirror, it absorbs everything that comes in front of it. Our mind is not controlled by us. Our mind is controlled by desires, by our emotions. Sometimes, if we do not know what is 👍 right and what is 👎wrong, our mind invalidates a lot of wrong things and a lot of wrong emotions and we are misled🙅‍♀️ very strongly. Our intellectual regime and our emotional regime, is directly proportional to our spiritual affairs, to our spiritual health.🩺 So these two are dependent on our spiritual health: cognitive 🧼 cleansing and emotional 🧼 cleansing. We have three of them on one side and only one is left on the other side. Mental, emotional, spiritual ✨ - all three are together 🔗. They are dependent on the spiritual side. Day 2️⃣ of the ‘Spiritual Detox and Cognitive cleansing’ course. ⬇️⬇️Below is an excerpt form the lecture!⬇️⬇️ 🎶 MUSIC 🎶 In order to keep your mind undisturbed, cleansed and pure, do not listen to bad songs, it will give rise to lust in your head. When you listen to music you want to listen to something that is healthy to your mind and understanding. For example, listen to any devotional songs, Hindu or Muslim devotional songs, songs belonging to Jesus Christ, Sufi songs - anything that is devotional because it really helps you connect with the presence of love. It really energises your emotions and it does purify your emotions. You can listen to HDE Gohar Shahi's speeches, it will purify your mind. You can sometimes listen to a relaxation type of music and meditation music. Calming music will purify your mind of bad thoughts and negativity. 👍 OPTIMISM AND PESSIMISM 👎 Optimism should be based on reality. That is the best thing. If it is not based on reality, it is just your desire that this or that should happen, that is your fantasy. My understanding of optimism is that we do our best and our hope should be based on reality, being realistic. But those who are pessimists, they reject reality and embrace negativity. Pessimists are those who can see concrete reality in front of them but they have this strange apprehension, they are so paranoid something nasty would happen unreasonable illogical irrational fear and that is what turns them into pessimists. 🧠 KNOWLEDGE 🧠 When you seek knowledge, you should check for its source. How authentic the knowledge is and how pure the knowledge is, because if wrong, inauthentic, untrustworthy knowledge gets in your head it will mess it up.
