Do you think that the characters on cm would actually respect someoneās pronouns. Would they all use they/them if someone asked? And if yes who would be best at using the right pronouns and whos the worst??
I love this ask so much. Thank you for sending this anon, and I apologize answering nearly a month later.
Alex Blake: She would be among the last to meet you and Penelope would have already told her your preferred pronouns, so she would begin using them without you having to ask at all.
Aaron Hotchner: Hotch would be more than happy to call you by your preferred pronouns but the first two times he talks to you, he would mess up and instantly apologize. But then he would get it down because he began to focus on his words every time he talked to you.
David Rossi: Please, this man would be all over the place. He would try and then just fail every time, no matter how many times the team would help. So out of respect, he would just end up addressing you by name from then on to make sure he doesnāt invalidate you.
Derek Morgan: This man would try his very, very best and his best, was great. Every time someone would be quick to judge, Derek would correct them, letting them know your preferred pronouns.
Emily Prentiss: Please, sheād be the most unaffected by this. She would instantly start using your pronouns, and it wouldnāt seem any different or difficult at all.
Jennifer Jareau: I love JJ, but I think sheād be super confused at first. She would really try to use your pronouns but she would find herself messing up and then would internally beat herself up about it. She would end up going to Spencerās one night to have him explain it all to her (she was too afraid to offend you and ask you instead), and once he does, she has no problem using your pronouns at all.
Penelope Garcia: She would be so sweet about it and make sure to tell the whole team in order to take that stress off your shoulders. She would just be an angel about it, she would also let you know her preferred pronouns.
Spencer Reid: I feel like Spencer would ask you what your preferred pronouns were when he first met you and then once you shared, he would respond with his own. He would then give you a small cute ramble about pronouns and how they came to be. Spencer would also be the first person everyone in the team would go to in order to get some information on pronouns and the preference of different ones.
Seaver would just ignore you and talk about her dad, the end.
