Another Bohemian!Dandelion I did for @jaskierswolf - Thank you so much for being so patient and supportive!

A few headcanon I created while drawing this artwork:

Dandelion is an indie rock/folk singer (a bit like Hozier).

After two years of silence, Dandelion released the album Kiss and Make up to talk about his relationship with Geralt.

The first song, of course, it's Burn Butcher Burn, which is clearly written by a heartbroken man. However, the other songs describe Dandelion and Geralt's healing process as a couple.

They are married and happy now, but it took time and dedication. Dandelion and Geralt used the last two years to work on themselves, to focus on their relationship.

After the album release, Geralt received a lot of hateful messages and comments from Dandelion's too protective fans. That's why he decided to sit for an interview with Vogue and support his partner. After all, what happended between the two of them was his fault too.

the fact that jaskier has his lecture ready to go (you abandoned me, don’t fucking ‘jaskier’ me i’m talking to you, this is how it works), that he’s clearly not stopped thinking about this since the moment it happened, that he tells himself and yennefer he’s “better off,” that he’s spent months singing i heard you’re alive, how disappointing and did i not bring you some glee? and did you ever even care? and burn butcher burn and watch me burn all the memories of you—

but it takes nothing on geralt’s end for jaskier to step into his arms??

all he does is appear, oh my god, jaskier doesn’t even care, he throws it all aside, the lecture can wait, everything can wait, he keeps his eyes open in that hug because he knows geralt’s about to fucking disappoint him again and he does, but, fuck it! fuck it, he says, because he can’t help it

hes so devastated and hurt and desperately lonely for geralt, and he’ll take anything he can get

he knows he deserves better. he knows it. but he literally can’t stop himself from embracing geralt, because he never thought he’d get the chance to again.

geralt will look out for ciri obviously, but he’s just the one who brought orange slices and a first aid kit.

We absolutely adore Trans Jaskier! Like the post linked above says they have enough magic to be able to do it, Plus Yennefer literally goes through an entire ritual to alter her body. It wouldn’t surprise me at ALL if Jaskier would go through the same thing especially considering he’s a viscount and has enough money for it.

Jaskier always forgets that not everyone knows he’s trans. He’s always going “OH!, yeah-” and moving on like it’s nothing. Which, realistically, it really shouldn’t be that big of a deal, to begin with so why mention it?

It’s just who he an is and the people who do know about it are Yenna and Geralt. The people Jaskier’s slept most likely know as well.

He’s never been worried about it who he is, especially now. He’s a male, just like he wants to be, he’s happy and in a happy relationship doing what he loves to do. He gets to go on wild adventures and sing the whole time and he even sings for Geralt ‘privately’ if you know what I mean ;)
