I’m sapphic, a huge woman lover, and I just love posting about my favorite ships and characters. I enjoy having discussions and debates, but not when they get too heated! Please, do not interact with me, if you hate any of my favorite ships or characters, I’ll just delete your comment.

Jancy may have broken up, but in the end, their endgame is still the more guaranteed one between the love triangle. Just in the finale alone, we have scenes of Jonathan and Nancy being glued to the hip, Jonathan was very protective over Nancy (to the point where Steve and Robin had to pull him away from her), Jonathan saving Nancy’s life, risking his life by almost attacking a military man for grabbing her, and them getting their own little moment in the epilogue where they look at each other/nancy wanting to film Jonathan’s movie.

Also, let’s not forget when Matt Duffer himself even confirmed jancy didn’t break up because they weren’t in love anymore, but because they needed to find themselves, and that they could definitely get back together in the future and even get married.

I love how my interpretation of Steve being Nancy’s Mr. Rabbit ended up being confirmed true. <3

Like how the stranger things twitter was like “stncy this, jancy that, but the real relationship is between Nancy and her gun” or something like that. And how both of her season five funkos include her holding guns. Again, i love badass Nancy but it got so tiring seeing them shove guns into all her marketing and merch

Then once the final battle was over, and they were in the truck with a moment of peace, here they are snuggling up right next to each other. Staring at the other, with the biggest heart eyes and sweetest smiles. Probably one of my favorite jancy moments ever. They’re “broken up,” and they’re still glued to the hip. They don’t have to sit next to each other, but it’s something they’re used to because they’re the most important person to each other and are the most comfortable with each other. They’re not used to not being together, so it’s just instinctive.

Then we have the epilogue. Yes, Nancy gives all three of them looks and glances during the scene, but the Duffers made it clear to point out that the look between Jonathan and Nancy, and said they could 100% get back together later in the future. Robin says Nancy is still ~full of surprises~ and here she is glancing over at Jonathan, who was already looking at her, admiring her. Nancy was the one who was the most supportive of Jonathan’s anti capitalist movie, and even wanted to meet up every month to film it with him.
