i really wish m-spec people would stop forcing the whole “everyone’s sexuality is fluid :)))))))” thing on gay people. like yes, that might be true for you, but it’s not for everyone else. i spent so long trying to force myself to be attracted to men, just so i didn’t have to deal with all of the shit this comes with. and for you to go around and say that everyone is attracted to everyone is just...... disrespectful honestly. i don’t know why it’s so difficult for you to comprehend that some people are just gay.
it’s so strange to me how much non-lesbian lgbt’s insert themselves into lesbian discourse. obviously im not saying that’s how every single person is, but it is an alarming amount. if I, as a lesbian, commented on bisexual discourse, people would be livid. but the other way around ? no one cares. do you see the problem here?

Something I don’t see talked about enough:
Terfs target non-terf lesbians. A lot. The most common things I’ve been told by terfs is “you’re just a homophobic bi girl” for simply stating that comphet is real, or I’ve even been told “dykes don’t do d!ck” by an adult, who thought I was trans solely for having pronouns in my bio, to me, a minor. The things stated above aren’t only lesbophobic, but also transphobic and biphobic. Whenever I post in the #lesbian tag, I’m always afraid of a terf commenting the usual “you aren’t a real lesbian, blah blah blah”. I’m totally not undermining anyone else’s experience with terfs. Transphobia is the number one issue when it comes to terfs. But I’ve never seen anyone talk about this before. There needs to be more discussion about how terfs hurt the entire community. (While of course we protect trans people above all else and keep transphobia as the main part of this discussion).
