But in the UK first period typically only starts at 9 AM. So free period from around 9-10 AM and Snapes class from 10-11 AM I’d say.

yeah but i feel asleep early yesterday bc your federal holidays are a fuckin snoozefest

thanks to this post i’ve gotten multiple messages from americans sharing ‘exciting’ accounts of arson their family members accidentally committed yesterday; i am neither surprised nor encouraged. 

the notes on this post have turned into americans complaining about property damage, scary noises, anxiety attack and irresponsible neighbors a la Fourth of July, and i am HERE for it. YES July 4 is a terribly executed holiday, let americans and non-americans come together railing on the fact it is truly awful

Shout out to all the dogs who are scared of fireworks! Shout out to Americans who want to go to sleep without being bothered by fireworks! Shout out to people having anxiety and panic attacks (and in general having their day ruining) bc of fireworks! Shout out to anyone who doesn’t want to participate in this mess, but is forced to bc of inconsiderate neighbors or family members! I hope next year is quieter, and calmer, and full of a bit more of the peace we are all longing for and deserve.
