it's literally all of my fav guilty pleasure tropes too crammed in (well almost all of them... the ones that haven't shown up yet WILL hehe >:)) it is like. what if I played dolls with my favs and just wrote something SOOO self-indulgent. the fic (ok id argue all of my fics/art are That, but Still) so hearing mine aligns with other people's.... awesome. we all have Good Taste I guess 😎

Thank you for the concern, I'm okay!! It's not on hiatus/discontinued!! Basically, when I stared publishing it I had a lot written in advance. That's still true, but I tend to write out of order (some scenes I want to write before I forget/am just more excited to write lol) then circle back to fill in the sort of 'bridge' chapters/scenes. we've sort of hit the point where the prewritten stuff has a big gap like,

technicalllly the next chapter IS written & almost done/ready to be posted. it's a /long/ chapter and I keep going back and forth editing some stuff because I'm like, is it too early to imply that? Do readers need more of a breather? should I push that back/do x or y now? and general anxious desires to be 'good enough' because my readers are very nice ;w;/ the next chapter is also just stupidly long rn and I'm trying to trim the fat on it while Maintaining The Flow (tm) if that makes sense.

I don't want to super commit to a update schedule in a formal way or promise long chapters every single time either so I'm trying to find a balance that works for me on my end that doesn't make me feel guilty for 'short' chapters 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I do! but it won't end for a LONG time. I have the arbitrary goal of making it my longest fic (I WANT it to be somewhere between 50-100 chapters ideally) I do loosely plan stuff out so I can foreshadow certain things but I know where every character will end up :) (a good chunk is pre-written as is! It's just that I like to write out of order and have to run back and connect things LOL)
