“You’re making this a bigger deal then what it actually is.” Samuel sniffled, pulling his blanket further around him as he looked at the other from his door. “You really didn’t need to come and check up on me, I’m sure it’s just a twenty four hour bug thing. Or the flu. I’ll bounce back though.”

Ronnie: hey! i'm a great influence, you need to let loose every now and again

Ronnie: but i said i'll be tame!

Ronnie: listen we're playing truth or dare at the birthday bash i will 100% have when i'm back and you're coming so you have to

Sam: you're a better influence than him, will you accept that?

Sam: pfft- i let loose plenty. i don't know what you're taking about. pffft.

Ronnie: that's so sweet tho that he tried 😊

Ronnie: oh come on, sammy, everyone could do with a LITTLE corrupting

Ronnie: truth or dare with me would be fun and you know it!

Sam: We still talk about it and I think it's the first time both of us laughed since it happened.

Sam: First Will and now you, both of you are terrible influences.

Ronnie: yeah well there's camping and then there's camping rivera style but i've always liked it tho

Ronnie: you should not be scared, i'll be tame

Ronnie: at least the first time we play 😈

Sam: I think I've only been camping once with my Dad. It was just after my Mom passed and he had the best intentions, but he didn't check the weather forecast. Long story short, the tent collapsed because of the rain and I was very soggy.

Ronnie: i've been nearly attacked by a skunk, gotten lost on like three different hikes and now i'm watching adrian give lap dances while completely sober so you know...

Ronnie: pretty good 😜

Ronnie: YOU HAVEN'T???? We are soooo having a party and playing when i get back you haven't got a choice

Sam: I've never been so happy to be sat on my couch right now. All of that sounds... Interesting. Just not sure if it's the good kind of interesting.

Sam: but at least you're having fun!!

Ronnie: you are not going to belieeeeeeve the dares adrian is coming up with

Ronnie: they're almost as bad as his ability to put up a tent

Sam: oh right, I forgot you went camping. how's the wilderness treating you?

Sam: OMG YOU'RE PLAYING TRUTH AND DARE!!

Normally Will wasted no time in laying it on thick with those he was attracted to or wanted to bed but he’d not done that with Samuel. Perhaps because he valued the others friendship more than he’d realised at first. It wasn’t something he was willing to mess up just for the chance at a fun night. A chuckle left his lips at the colouring on the others cheeks though and Will sunk more comfortably down into his chair, closing his eyes and tilting his head back to bask in the warmth of the sun. “Oh, I know. I’m also aware that it’s a chance I take but that kind of adds to the excitement.” Will admitted, grinning. “I should be better at avoiding it given my abilities but I don’t tend to feel the need to be on guard with you. I’m sure you will control it eventually and in some ways, my constant provocations might actually prove useful in that respect.” And it wasn’t as if he could be easily hurt so if Samuel was going to do it to anyone, it might as well be him.

“Is it a form of pleasure for you or-...?” Samuel asked, a serious expression on his face as he tried to figure out if that’s what the other meant by him shocking him causing him that bit of excitement. “Well given I’m the least threatening looking person, I don’t blame you at not being on our guard. Pretty sure a Labrador could be more intimidating that me.” Samuel scoffed at the others words, “You’re really okay with being shocked that much to try and help me learn? Seems like a bit of an odd teaching technique.”

“You’re joking- you must be joking!” Lily’s mouth gaped, putting her cup down as she stared at the other. “Did they really do that?” 

"I know I can be quite the comedian at times, but right now I’m being one hundred percent serious.” Smauel told the other, holding his hands up in his defense. “They really did it. And let me tell you the dog was not happy afterwards, not that I can blame him, poor pooch.”

A little chuckle fell from Will’s lips at that. “Really? That’s cute but not the view I was talking about, pretty boy.” He seemed in good humor despite the others clueless response. The truth was, he did find Samuel attractive but he also enjoyed his company. There was definitely no boredom involved when the brunette was about. “You also keep me entertained. I’m not sure whether that’s a good thing for you but you make for good company… When you’re not electrocuting me of course.” 

Samuel didn’t need to look in a mirror to know his face had heated up and there was a clear blush on his cheeks from the others comment, he didn’t even know how to respond so he chuckled. Lamely. All whilst trying to look anywhere but at William as if that was going to make his blushing less obvious. “You know I don’t mean to do that, you normally provoke me and it’s a defense mechanism I guess, still trying to reign it in.”

Ronnie grinned, “Well aren’t you just sweet as sugar? What’s with all the compliments, huh?” She asked in a suspicious but teasing manner as she put the crown on, “Thank you, Sammy,” She said, planting a kiss on his cheek, “How do I look? Should I consider adding a crown to Killer Curve’s costume?”

“I always give you compliments, this isn’t anything out of the ordinary, is it?” Samuel couldn’t help but ask, raising an eyebrow at the other before grinning as she placed the crown on her head. “Amazing and you totally should, I think it would enhance all battle maneuvers. You could even use it as a weapon. Death by the crown, what a way to go.”

“That is genius,” Mars considered, pulling out a notebook and scribbling down the idea before looking back up to him again. “Expect me with a portable fort next time you see me,” she added with a laugh. “How are you, doof?”

“Are you- yeah, you’re really writing this down. Okay, I want some sort of profits if it takes off.” Samuel commented, especially since he was the one to give her the idea. “I’m good, school is keeping me busy and it’s been ten days since I’ve electrocuted anyone so I’m calling that a win.”

“Here-” Samuel smiled, handing the other the flower crown made of daisies he had been made as the two of them sat outside soaking up the sun. “Something to add that extra bit of seasonal spring time to your outfit. That and aren’t Queen’s supposed to be wearing a crown at all times?” He teased.

“Would you rather not, in which case you are free to leave at any point.” Will answered, glancing over at the other man from behind his raybans. “It’s a nice day and I wanted a nice view.” He added a moment later with a smirk. 

“That’s not what I was saying.” Samuel pointed out to the other, “Was just wondering why you asked me of all people to come and hang out with you.” Especially since the other must have many friends and people wanting to buy his attention and he was just some dork who had looked up to him as a super cool hero once upon a time. “Well I do have to say the view is more impressive then back at the Academy. I forget how pretty the town is.”

“You know, it’s kind of nice out here when it’s sunny, warm and someone isn’t forcing you to run laps. Why don’t we sit out here more often?” He asked from where the two of them sat on the grounds of the academy.
