Lily had always loved the colder months of the year. The times when life seemed to slow down a little more and people tended to indulge in the cozier aspects of life, the season where it was perfectly acceptable to curl up with a good book and wrap one's self in every soft and warm article of clothing or comfort they owned. Yes, Lily liked the cold weather...as long as she didn't have to get out in it. Thankfully the snow and ice of the previous week had melted, but it hadn't taken the sharp chill in the air along with it. Bundled up and walking with her face down to the biting wind, Lily curled the arm not holding her cane a little closer to her body, savoring the little bit of warmth radiating from the two steaming to-go cups nestled into the crook of her elbow. Just a little further, she coaxed herself. Just a little further and the trek through the tundra would be all worth her while. The weather seemed to work in her favor in the sense that it kept the foot traffic for her navigate around at a minimum. Still, a challenge came into play when faced with her arch nemesis in the moment: The shop door. "Didn't think this part through very well, now did we?" She murmured to herself before giving a small sigh and shifting to try and balance her cane in the hand of the arm cradling the drinks as well. Under normal circumstances an easy enough feat but the layers of extra clothing to combat the cold made the arrangement a little precarious. She managed, though, with only a brief moment of worry when she thought she lost her balance with the cups. A relieved huff fell from her lips as she walked into the gloriously warm flower shop. The heady scent of the blooms hanging in the air around her felt like a warm welcome as she walked toward the front desk. "Robin?" He never seemed to be too far away whenever she stopped in and she thoroughly enjoyed having a little chat with him before she started perusing the flower selections for the day, sometimes asking him questions here and there about the offerings. She set the cups down on the counter, freeing her hands so she could remove her coat and scarf to drape over her elbow as she listened for him. "I though you might like something to warm you up a little with the cold outsides. I asked for extra extra marshmallows!"
